Team Rocket Riders represented RPDS at the local LEGO League Qualifier competition at @MOSHjax. They were tasked with forming a solution to space radiation while researching its effects on astronauts and also building a EV3 Mindstorms robot. Go Team Rocket Riders!

“Space Builders” received a trophy for Construction Innovation and “Moon Champions” won the Robust Design award. We are so proud of our LEGO League Jr. teams. Way to show the RPDS spirit through your learning and teamwork!

5th & 6th Grade students in STEAM class created Christmas themed codes & costumes for our new Root Robots! They coded their robots to deliver presents, dance in the nutcracker ballet, draw Christmas trees, sing carols and more.

Try this before your next meeting. Randomly tear a sheet of copier paper. Hand the torn pieces of paper to your neighbor. They assemble the pieces into a scene, a sculpture, a creature.... whatever creativity inspires. What do the pieces say to you? #designthinking #design #CTTL

@SpaceX @elonmusk Anyone at SpaceX willing to talk to a group of 4-6 graders about space for their Lego League space mission? We’re in Florida and would love a field trip!
