This year I am stepping out of the classroom and working as a grades 3-8 math interventionist!! I am so excited for this new journey 📊🍏 Here’s to year 5 🎉
We have been working hard this week on our animal research projects! The kids created Google Slides to share their research and used Brush Ninja to make animations that represented each of their topics!
Today we did the How can you unlock a door using a magnet? @MysterySci The kids had to create their own lock system using a magnet!
Working on our research writing skills through our animal research project! Our first step is taking notes on a specific topic through multiple sources! 🧐
We had so much fun on our field trip around town! The kids had a blast learning about and seeing all of the historical sites and landmarks of Norton!
To kick off our magnet unit in science, the kids had to determine whether an object was magnetic or not. They also had to complete the following challenges: 1. Make a paper clip float and 2. Make another magnet float! They were very successful!🧲🧑🏼🔬

Today we became distributive doctors! The kids had to break apart a large array into two smaller arrays using the distributive property! 🩺🥼
I’m so proud of my kiddos for all of their hard work on ST Math! Our class solved the most puzzles last week, so we get to have Jiji in our room for the week! 🐧 @STMath
