Trying to pick out pictures I like from my 40th birthday shoot and I am in awe! My team killed it….this is really bloom season because the looks ate and I look TEA!
The vanity is screaming, the beauty is crying! 😂😂😂
Funeral Orders of Service & the biographies written in them always leave me reflective, questioning what lessons I can glean..
What should I stop?
What can I do better?
My constant prayer is that I die empty…
What gifts should I be putting to use that I’ve yet to harness???

I built the Nigerian Literature Archive for the books many of us grew up reading and the ones we may have forgotten.
From Ige Adubi to Ralia the Sugar Girl, Eze Goes to School and more, it’s a small way to preserve and rediscover Nigerian literature.

I collected most of the responses to this tweet, cleaned them up, and gave them a home.
It’s now a digital archive where you can discover books you grew up reading and add more books to the collection.
Made with Claude Code.

A beautiful story took centre stage in London, and what followed was a celebration of love, laughter, life and the complexities of being a single woman. 🇬🇧
From the electric performances on stage to a packed hall and an incredible audience, Dear Kaffy: Diary of a Single Woman was a beautiful showcase of the power of storytelling.
One stage. One beautiful story. An unforgettable experience. ❤️

I loved watching Daniel Deronda & Mr Darcy… I need to reread some classics from before like Prof Wole Soyinka’s Lion & The Jewel
The Marriage of Anansewa by Efua Sutherland
I shared some of my thoughts here - 👇🏽

Is George Eliot’s Daniel Deronda ‘insufferably boring’ or visionary?
thetimes.com/article/27bac5b… Lovely piece @JoshGlancy and no,Deronda isn’t a bore but a smoking hot Jewish hero!

I remember when I was in QC, I and some other school mates attended an event where talks were held about designating it a UNESCO World Heritage Site..
It’s had a strong pull for a long time…

Osun Osogbo has always had massive international (tourism) appeal. It's always been the one other Nigerian festivals look to, when they work towards more international appeal. Not a new or even recent phenomenon, not at all. It helps to get the historical sequencing right.

25 years of 8701…crazy how fast the time went. We can talk about the streams/sales. We can talk about the awards.
But 8701 was always bigger than the numbers or any of those things.
It’s the memories we made. It’s the fact that this album is what transformed me and truly put me on the map from a teen into a young man.
Thank U for all the love and support. U are what has made 8701 so special for all these years.
25 years later and we’re still making memories.

Successful marriages don’t work the way people think they do. They aren’t sustained by a constant feeling of ease or by two people who never struggle; they’re sustained by two people who keep choosing each other when life gets heavy.
In marriage, you spend time carrying each other sometimes physically with the practical weight of responsibilities, and sometimes emotionally with patience, forgiveness, and steady presence. There will be seasons when one person is strong and the other is tired, when one is hopeful and the other is unsure, when one can give more and the other can only receive. The work is learning how to trade those roles without keeping score, to communicate honestly, to repair after conflict, and to return again and again to the same commitment: we’re on the same team.
