🚨BREAKING: The public land sale provision tied to the budget bill has been defeated! The bill moved forward without it. Thanks to 27,000+ advocates who used RMEF’s portal to speak up and protect our public lands. Your voice made a difference. THANK YOU!

RMEF strongly opposes the Senate bill provision calling for the sale of 1 million acres of BLM land. We urge all members and supporters to take action now.

RMEF: “Part of the problem is, we don’t know where the acres are that would be sold off. It’s creating a system where the public doesn’t have an opportunity to weigh in on proposed sales.”⬇️lasvegassun.com/news/2025/ju…

You bet, RMEF is concerned about measures that would sell public lands. As such, we support the newly formed Public Lands Caucus created by @RepRyanZinke & @RepGabeVasquez.⤵️

I spent the day with @RMEF volunteers working to transform a large empty exhibition center into a banquet hall suitable for the 750+ expected guests at our annual event tomorrow night. Last year our Beartooth chapter was #2 in the nation in the amount of funds raised for RMEF. – at Billings, MT

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit has affirmed the legality of corner crossing, a major victory for hunters, anglers, and all public lands users.
With all the craziness going on in our world, and inhospitable weather outdoors, it's a relief to finally be able to turn on @DirtVision to watch some 410 sprint car racing. It's great to see a new season of @WorldofOutlaws racing getting underway at @VolusiaSpeedway Park! – at Billings, MT
At our first @RMEF chapter meeting of the year last night we took some time to celebrate our chapter reaching "legendary status", meaning that in 2024 we were able to raise $250k net for elk, elk habitat, and other wildlife through our annual banquet and other events. – at Billings, MT

RMEF's work advocating for, creating & conserving public lands dates back nearly four decades (1988) so this ruling marks a win for public lands, public hunting & for wildlife management.⤵️

Sorry to hear that Nikola Jokić won't be playing for the @Nuggets tonight due to illness. Without Jokić it's going to be tough going up against the Celtics. But I'll still be watching and hoping for success against a very good Celtics team. – at Billings, MT
