This morning, I took another step toward a lifelong goal: I finished my first ever Ironman 70.3 (half Ironman) in Panama City Beach with a time of 6:56:17. I worked harder to train for this race than I ever have for anything, and I’m really proud of the result. My goal was to

finish, with sub 7 as a stretch goal that I didn’t think I would hit. I feel especially thankful to get to race again with Chris: we did our first tri and first adult tris together, so this has been a great return to the tradition. I don’t know when, but I can’t wait to be back!
