I have to give my baby his flowers. The way this man cares for me, pays attention to the little things and goes out of his way to make me happy is something I’ll never take for granted. He made my birthday so special, and I honestly felt so loved and celebrated. I appreciate you more than words can explain, baby. ❤️🥹

My apartment management rented my reserved parking spot to 3 different people for $50 extra each.
I pay $60 extra every month for reserved spot. It says "Reserved - Apt 4B" with my number.
Last month I came home and another car was in my spot. I called management. Management said, "Oh, we rented it to Apt 6A for $50 extra too, because we thought you moved."
I said, "I didn't move, I'm Apt 4B, I pay $60."
Management said, "We will fix it. We will give you different spot."
They gave me spot in back, far from door. It says "Reserved - Apt 4B - Back Row."
I said, "My old spot was by door, I pay $60 extra for close spot."
Management said, "Close spots are $75 extra now. You pay $60, you get back row."

My friend’s younger brother turned down a promotion, and his manager hasn’t forgiven him since.
He had worked at the company for three years.
Never missed deadlines. Rarely called in sick. Always helped colleagues.
One afternoon, his manager called him.
Manager: “We’ve decided to promote you to team supervisor.”………
Him: “That’s great news. Thank you.”

Bank Manager: “You haven’t had a permanent job in fourteen months. Why are you applying for a $35,000 business loan?”
Applicant: “Because I need to start over, sir.”
Bank Manager: “You have two children, a mortgage, and almost no savings. Isn’t this too risky?”
Applicant: “It is.”
Bank Manager: “Then why take the chance?”
The man placed a small photograph on the desk.
It showed two children standing beside a cardboard lemonade stand.
“My daughter made this when I lost my job. She sold lemonade outside our house and gave me $42.”
The manager looked at the photograph.
Bank Manager: “What does that have to do with your loan?”
“She told me I shouldn’t worry because she would help pay the bills.”
The man paused.

Candidate: "The job posting says Marketing Coordinator. What would I actually be doing?"
Hiring Manager: "Social media, email campaigns, updating the website."
Candidate: "Great. That's exactly what I do."
Hiring Manager: "Oh, and you'd cover the front desk when needed."

I’ve driven past stop signs with holes in them for years and always assumed someone had cut or punched them out.
Then I noticed one where the holes were all the same size and almost perfectly spaced around the edge.
That’s when I realized… those weren’t random. 😳
Apparently some stop signs are actually made like this on purpose.
Anyone know why they would deliberately put holes in a STOP sign?

My husband couldn’t stand that our intimidating biker neighbor walked our seven-year-old home from school. I trusted Travis completely until Emma’s teacher called me at work and said, “Come here right now. It’s about the man who picks her up.” When I reached the principal’s office, Travis wasn’t alone.
I’d known Travis so long that I sometimes forgot how intimidating he looked to strangers.
He was thirty-six, six-foot-four, tattooed from wrists to shoulders, usually dressed in black, and played bass in a local band.
If Travis approached you in a dark parking lot, you might cross the street.
But I saw the man who fixed my first car for free and helped my mom after my dad died. He’d lived near my family for most of my life.
I trusted him.
My husband, Ryan, did not.
The problem began when my work schedule changed.
Our daughter, Emma, was seven and finished school at three.
I used to leave early enough to pick her up, then complete my work from home. After transferring departments, that was no longer possible...

I pay $75 extra every month for my reserved parking spot right by my apartment door. It says "Reserved 24/7" with my apartment number.
My downstairs neighbor parked in it for 3 days straight. He said his spot is too far and mine is empty during day because I work.
I didn't knock. I called tow truck at 11 PM and had his car towed. $200 towing fee.
Next morning whole building group chat blew up. He posted video of his car being towed at midnight.
He said in group chat: "She towed my car at 11 PM without even knocking. I have a baby, I needed close spot for 3 days while my wife recovers. She pays $75 extra but she works 9 to 5, spot is empty all day."
Half the building said: "She has right, she pays $75 extra every month for reserved spot that costs extra. You can't just take it because it's empty."
Other half said: ……

I never expected that checking out of a hotel would turn into an argument I would remember for a long time.
After spending a few days at the hotel, I was ready to leave. I had already made my payment and packed my belongings, but when I went to the reception to complete my discharge, the manager told me there was still an outstanding balance on my account.
I was surprised because I was certain I had paid everything.
Me: Good morning, sir. I'm here to complete my discharge. I've settled my bill, and I would like to check out.
Manager: Good morning. According to our records, you still have an outstanding payment.

I’d been retired barely two days when my daughter-in-law decided my new cabin by the lake would be ideal for her parents’ summer vacation.
She instructed me to ready the bedrooms, casually adding that I could sell the property if the arrangement bothered me.
Apparently, forty-one years of savings, quiet mornings beside the water, and my being the sole name on the deed counted for nothing once she found a use for my home.
I neither argued nor reminded her who owned it. I didn’t even raise my voice.
Instead, I made a discreet call, assembled a slim folder, and waited outside until their SUV came up my driveway as though they already owned the place.
At sixty-four, I’d retired and bought the cabin for a single purpose: to hear myself breathe again...
