as a guy who’s only here to curate, collect and enjoy building community around art. there is nothing more exciting for me currently than watching @ArchanNair do his thing with his slow release ongoing art experience.
I’ve held his two genesis editions and loved collecting all the next pieces he’s dropped and made available.
more to come I’m sure!

Continuing the special normie series for @Gathi32 in Mūori. Excited to share the 3rd edit for normie #100 :: 600 pixels! 😇

⊗ A ring of quiet light circles the head, each square a held breath.
Below, the patterned dress turns slowly inward while the face remains perfectly still, watching the dark field that keeps its distance.

Normie #100 v3 by @ArchanNair
Reminder : with Archan we decided to let him modify my zombie #100
600 pixels attached, it means Archan needs to take the original zombie and only add/remove 600 pixels
40/40, only black and White, that’s a big challenge
Always his unique style, mix of asian and european inspiration. Never seen it elsewhere tbh
In the end we will choose which one is the best and become the art of my zombie longer term ! 🧟♂️

This is really amazing way to use Normies canvas.
@ArchanNair is creating his art and it turns out to be great!

Ancient, yet timeless. Mythical, yet within reach. As if an entire universe was dreamed into existence, then brought to life piece by piece. ⚘

as everyone begins bidding artists work onchain and claiming to now be a “collector” ~ I’ve decided to be the one to say what you don’t want to hear yet it will save you in the long run.
in 2021 and 2022 I was big into minting on manifold and supporting artists, but within months often those artists were gone or radio silent. so I built a strategy to ensure what I collect is not only amazing art but also is by an amazing artist who’s going to keep creating.
the most simple trick you can do is check the artists name on instagram.
this and this alone exposes whether they are here to expand their already established career or if they are here to extract value from the crypto space and later leave to never be spoken of again.
so the rule ~
+ check artists mutual friends on X (most will have 300 or more these days)
+ check artists website
+ most importantly ~ check their instagram
if an artist has built a following on instagram for years on end and has established themselves in a space that’s not as financially driven aka instagram ~ then it’s very likely they are coming to web3 to expand their already established career.
now I’m not saying don’t support small artists, I’m just saying be aware what you bid today may be worth $0 in a month if you don’t find a way to figure out who’s real and who’s riding the latest @osseneth fuelled auction meta.
either way, enjoy yourself ~ don’t over extend yourselves as you collect and have fun onchain.
good luck.

@ArchanNair Nair is back.
After what he has already built in Web3, seeing a new transmission from him is enough to get my attention.

slowly slowly then all at once.
my friend @ArchanNair is one of those artists that everyone will later be talking of.
not if but when.

the art is only the surface of Mūori.
beneath it .. a story. a language. a world with its own laws.
and in Dōrvath, something older than anything seen so far.
the field had just begun dreaming
