Just a little bit of sellotaping as a #curatorialcrime for a Friday afternoon searching through the herbarium with @MuseumInsight. Himalayan balsam from Carrington, 1948

ALT Pressed specimen of Himalayan balsam showing leaves and some flowers. All attached to a sheet of paper using sellotape which is aging and getting brittle

ALT Printed label on a herbarium sheets of a specimen of Himalayan balsam. It reads : B. Hopkins. Impatiens glandulofera. Royle. 25/91/1948. Carrington, river bank. And gives the filling number 133/4 to the top of the photo, part of the plant specimen is visible, with leaves stuck down with sellotape.
