As someone who is constantly settings timers on my Apple Watch with Siri, the changes in watchOS 27.2 to make responses faster are so nice!
Thank you Stephen for putting Please Don't Rain on the list!
Over a year after its introduction, iOS call screening still doesn't work with Google Voice.
Calls to my GV number result in Google expecting me to press 1 because of a fast pickup. I can never see what the caller would say is their reason for calling.
I've been paired with Eric Schofield ( @eschos24 ) and we're speaking on day 3 of the conference.
Can't wait!
THE SET LIST IS HERE. 🎸
Three days. One stage. A whole lot of Swift.
From SwiftUI and app development to accessibility, AI, and everything in between, our openers and headliners are taking the stage in Nashville, November 20–22.

There's a site gathering info about iPhone Duo apps called FoldHunt.
I'd appreciate an upvote for Please Don't Rain. 😀

I was so excited to see @EmpireOfTheSun and @fosterthepeople this fall. They were both phenomenal experiences.
The first half of this year I was stuck in a situation that made me unhappy every day. To be able to do things like this and feel happy + carefree again is incredible.
With the announcement of Apple HomeView I'm ready to launch my Google Nest Hub into the sun.
They should do a study on how colossally Google ruined it with the "upgrade" from Google Assistant to Gemini.

I was inspired by the stellar iPhone Duo work @JordanMorgan10 has been doing and writing about in his blog. His laptop pose for Elite Hoops was particularly great.
I made my own version for Please Don't Rain and of course I wouldn't release it without accessibility support!

ALT Two iPhone Duos running Please Don't Rain in laptop mode. There are rows of buttons on the bottom screen that have various chart symbols. The top screen shows a precipitation chart. The right side version has very large accessibility fonts in use and the symbols are much larger. This results in less buttons on the screen.
I can't believe that it's been one year since I made my first trip to the UK to give my first talk.
I'll be forever grateful to @Adam9Rush and the @swift_leeds team for the opportunity and help with the process.

Back in my day you couldn't create an App Store In-App Event celebrating iPad support and actually mention "iPad".
For iPhone Duo I'm happy to report that is no longer the case.

You don’t close out the first-ever Swiftsonic with a fade-out.

Today I've been working on adjusting the weather image selection screen in Please Don't Rain to avoid the crease in partially folded mode on iPhone Duo.

Can’t wait to give this talk and experience @swiftsonicconf !
“We’ll handle accessibility later” is like learning the bridge after the show starts.
@MuseumShuffle riffs on accessibility at Swiftsonic: quick wins we can use and how to prompt agents to build accessible experiences from the first note.

Feeling really glad that I spent so much time this summer giving Please Don't Rain a proper iPad layout. It has proved immensely useful in adjusting for iPhone Duo.
Right now I'm shifting some controls that would have been in the crease in the partially folded state.
Happy iOS 27 day!
Please Don’t Rain is a fun, convenient way to track if weather will affect a day that’s important to you.
The iPad UI has been completely revamped. The UI elements will intelligently arrange themselves in a new layout instead of just being a vertical stack.
There's also support for the new Extra-Large Portrait Widget!
More info than ever can now be shown for an overview of your special day.
