Feeling especially thankful for music fans today, and not just because my album is #2 in the Independent Albums Chart!
Today is the 5th anniversary of Penfriend: music, videos, podcast + subscription club. I'm celebrating by making a new zine and organising demos for album 3 :)

Robert Smith: "Dynamic pricing is a scam that would disappear if every artist said, ‘I don’t want that!’ (...) ‘Oh, we didn’t know,’ they say. They all know. If they say they do not, they’re either fucking stupid or lying"

Had a horrible experience on way to a gig tonight; complete opposite to the usual experience I’ve had in Yorkshire and North of England previously. I got the train from Leeds, almost all the seats taken (so far so normal)…

I love that @thecure appear to have announced the release date of their first new album in 16 years with a single poster outside the local pub they played their first gig at in 1978.

Ping me pics, let me know what’s playing on the jukebox. Raise a glass and hopefully make the best of things.
The decision to cancel was out of our hands but involved the safety of everyone involved
See you next time

OK, so there’s £1,000 behind the bar at @TinyRebelCdff. A little something for those who are there for our show that was cancelled. The staff are ready for you, it all gets started at 6pm but lots are there already. Meet fellow fans, drink to what will be and what might have been
