$100,000 held in cash since January 2020 now buys what $77,010 would have then. That’s $22,990 of purchasing power erased—about 608 hours of average private-sector work at today’s $37.81 hourly rate, or more than 15 full-time weeks of life spent earning money that can no longer be spent.

Seems a deep injustice when many employers and employees have no choice but to pay into social security. Better for the people to have an option to opt out. If one doesn't pay into social security, one doesn't receive social security benefits, but give the people the option.

Nice. Bitcoin-backed home loan we've heard about for months reportedly has actually been done.
₿REAKING: The first federal home loan in American using bitcoin was officially approved today. Joe and Amy living in Michigan, bought a new house using their bitcoin wallet as collateral for a Fannie Mae mortgage.

Lots of truth here for lots of people.
“Nobody wants to work anymore.” Wrong. People just do not want to: - Work 60 hours and still be broke - Miss their kids growing up - Get raises smaller than inflation - Save in a currency printed out of thin air - Answer emails on weekends - Get replaced the second margins get tight - Spend half their paycheck on rent - Need debt just to survive - Watch groceries, insurance, and housing go up faster than their income People do not hate work. They hate giving everything and getting nowhere.

I just finished my taxes. I owe $4,300 to Somalia and $3,700 to Ukraine.

For your consideration...
There is no such thing as government paid. It’s all taxpayer paid. Including the scams and fraudsters.

Disappointing. Ought to spend as much effort to prevent fraud as is spent going after taxes.
this is shocking: > US collects $2.4T in income tax, but spends $1.5T on fraud > if we didn't have to pay for fraud, only $900b would need to be collected > this means anyone with less 500k in income could pay *literally $0* in income tax we don't need to raise taxes. we need to cut fraud

Well, yeah
Government ministers pretending they do something.

Escaping the fiat system (more or less). He mentions crypto and BNB, which might not align perfectly with everyone's views, but reinforces many shared views of the fiat system.
🚨 NEW: Asia’s richest man just revealed he holds 100% Bitcoin and ZERO fiat currency!!! 😱😱😱⚡️ DO YOU REALISE HOW INSANELY BULLISH THIS IS?!!! 🔥🔥🔥

If you're long Bitcoin and also investing in dividend funds, do you prefer $BTCI or $BLOX? And, why?

It's been a ridiculous blood bath for weeks, and a somewhat strange one at that, with the seemingly nonstop bloody red candles with not so much obvious news to explain many of them. A lot of us are down significantly in Bitcoin and/or equities. Don't know how many times I've thought we were near the local bottom and then the market dumped even more, again and again. Many say wealth is created in conditions like these. Rooting for us to rally and look back on this fondly in the coming months and years.
