Bizarre but true, there was one world title I had multiple cracks at winning somewhere I was at 4-5 years ago that I never did
Gutted and frustrated me at the time. But now? It turned out to be better for my career that I didn't. It's crazy how things work out like that
I have a world title to defend tonight. For what it's worth? I have never lost a world title match when it's my reign's first defense. Against someone like Casey's sidekick (and possibly side chick let's be real), I expect that 18 1/2 year long trend to continue.
I have had to take a few days to put it all into perspective. For those that privately and publicly shared your congrats, thank you. 10 world titles is no easy milestone, obviously. You need plenty of endurance, longevity and patience. When I first started this? (1/?)
But really? It's been a hell of a roller coaster. I'd do it all over again, even the worst of times. I'm not where I am today without those. It's those learned lessons that forge a diamond and all of that. But I'm blessed that I still get to this, all in all. (3/?)
Today's the day. The ghosts are gone. The weight is lifted. Number 10 is on its way back to South Beach. No doubts. No worries. No stresses.
It was a ladder match that started the career rise back in March 2008, and fittingly, should WHC #10 happen this Sunday, it'll be a ladder match then too. Fittingly full circle if it comes about
My daughter starting 7th grade recently means that home is a lot more peaceful... JUST KIDDING! 😂

I'm so glad Twitter didn't exist in 2003. My 18-19 year old self would've been all over this platform causing all sorts of chaos calling people "BIATCH" and telling people to "SHUTTY" all the time. Oh god... and all the flame wars... and picking on people's outfits... FML
My 12 year old called me this morning and said that some boy in her class asked her to be his girlfriend.
She said no.
Her reason? "he likes Imagine Dragons"
