I wish I could say I was shocked about all the DBD stuff, but the truth is a lot of these huge IPs really only care about creators with huge numbers and not the communities that actually helped build the game. We have seen this shit play out so many times, apology after apology with no real change.
They've demonstrated time and time again with their actions that they truly do not hold value to this community. You all deserve so much better than what you get back from them. You're so loyal to this game, and it sucks how often you're continuously left disappointed.
A new cosmetic will release, a new collab will come out, or a new chapter will release and then the cycle starts all over again. I'm just so angry for you all that hold so much love for this game and the connections you've built. So much hatred has been given this weekend to many

You once again failed to aknowledge the amount of harassment & form of harassment that *we* the (former) players & creators have faced over all of this. We have been sent death threats and have been object to targeted harassment with intensive slur usage because of this fuck up.

Was it the backlash, the major Twitter news ("news") publications, or grifts saying they'd play the game that had you drop something super late Monday?
Seems like something that had the majority of your online community getting harassed and creators leaving the program would have a statement outside of normal business hours (ie not on DbDPulse).

criticism is valid, but death threats never are. players have every right to be upset when BHVR said it wasn’t authorized, yet it still happened. BHVR needs to take accountability. valid criticism shouldn’t be dismissed just because some people took it too far.
Because for a community that claims to be accepting, inclusive, and responsible it chose to go after a creator that was simply playing the game on Halloween and issue death threats to a developer who made a marketing play to get the game to more viewers.
We don't need to play the game to speak on the hypocritical nature of a community that immersed itself in petty jealousy and threw a giant tantrum.

No one has issue with reaching out to new creators. It’s the fact that they are a company/game that is pro-LGBTQIA & the creator they reached out to is known for him/his community using homophobic, racial and transphobic slurs. They’ve spent the last few days hurling those 1/
