NAMDIA’s Acting Chief Executive Officer, Ms Lelly Usiku, accompanied by the Public Relations and Communications Officer, recently paid a courtesy visit to the Director General of the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC), Ms Menesia Muinjo, and members of her management team.
According to the 2025 Kimberley Process Statistics, Namibia achieved an average price of US$282.54 per carat, which is significantly higher than the averages recorded by the world’s three largest diamond-producing nations by volume: the Russian Federation, Botswana and Canada.
In a challenging global diamond environment, these figures provide an important measure of the value NAMDIA continues to derive from Namibia’s diamonds.
As an organisation with price discovery at the heart of its mandate, our performance must ultimately be reflected in the value achieved for Namibian diamonds and these figures tell a compelling story. Source: kimberleyprocessstatistics.o…
