Happy 65th birthday, NASA’s Stennis Space Center! 🎉
On Oct 25, 1961, NASA announced plans to build a rocket test site in south Mississippi to support the Apollo Program. In the decades since, work at the site has helped power every major chapter of America’s space program.

Welcome back Falcon 9! ASOG returns home to Port Canaveral with B1085 securely on board, a sight that is set to become much less common as Falcon 9 operations slow dramatically at the Cape.
A sight that’s starting to feel novel again…
Falcon 9 first stage B1085 has returned to Port Canaveral aboard SpaceX’s recovery drone ship “A Shortfall of Gravitas,” after launching the Bandwagon-5 mission this past Tuesday morning.
With no Falcon launch operations expected for the next ~6 weeks from Florida, that would mark the longest gap between Space Coast launches since 2020.

BREAKING: The first indication of @BlueOrigin's New Glenn Return-To-Flight is here...
December 28, 2026.
The CADENA air traffic advisory lists this mission as "New Glenn 4.1". The rocket which exploded was "New Glenn-4".
As ever, these dates are extremely provisional, and should be taken with a pinch of salt until more concrete information is released.

Starship Ship 43 has arrived to Massey's for its cryo testing campaign, 4 days after its potential flight 16 partner Booster 23 returned from its cryo campaign.
Could this be the first Ship to fly out of the Kennedy Space Center?

Amazing to hear from @TurkeyBeaver, @jstyer, and Mark Soltys tonight in Cocoa Village, sharing their stories from SpaceX over the years—from recovering Ship 40 to their human spaceflight program and so much more.
And as if the Florida Starship hype train wasn’t already gathering speed, after hearing what really lies ahead for the Space Coast, it’s full steam ahead.
Bring it on!

While it waits for the booster, Starbase Pad 2 is keeping busy testing ahead of the potential catch attempt/s on Flight 15, with teams running a full deluge test simulating launch conditions, with a second test around 8 minutes later timed with when the booster will return for a catch.

Rocket Lab has provided the first update on Neutron Stage 2 in about a year - sounds like it's headed to Wallops soon.
This follows last week's update on Stage 1 production, which suffered a delay due to voids forming during Automatic Fiber Placement (AFP) of the carbon fiber.
We have completed breakover operations for the Neutron Stage 2 tank assembly, rotating the stage horizontal – a critical step in the handling of large rocket sections for integration and assembly.
Here’s a last look at Stage 2 on the Neutron Factory floor before it’s wrapped up (literally) for barge shipment to LC-3 on Wallops Island where its fluid systems will be tested and its Archimedes vacuum engine installed.

Latest from China, including their progress on reusability.

This is one of the days I will never forget as a passionate fan and tracker of this engine 🥹
I got the immense privilege of performing a tracking of this Raptor 3 Vacuum SN 265 arriving through our cameras at McGregor Live this morning in a vertical transport 🦖
What a happy day!
