📢Update on Adam's Cove Wildfire📢 The wildfire in Adam’s Cove is being held. Crews continue to action the fire. A State of Emergency and evacuation order remain in effect due to safety concerns, as recommended by #GovNL, NL Power and local fire department. Public safety of area residents is top priority. The Provincial Emergency Operations Centre continues to work closely with RCMP, the Town and emergency management partners in a coordinated response effort. NF Power remains in the area. Approx. 45 structures have been impacted. There are no reports of fatalities, injuries or missing persons at this time. ⛔Route 70 highway remains closed from Cave Lane to Black Head Brook to all traffic (no escorts).
