some guiding thoughts I’ve had through the years re: trauma + nonfiction (as a qpoc) is how to configure it through aesthetic strategies that center joy, pleasure, erotics. A framework that doesn’t jettison trauma, or trivialize, but that honors & calibrates it differently. 🧵
