I am opposed to mandatory digital ID - people should be able to go about their daily lives without such infringements.
That aside, by calling it BritCard, the Prime Minister seems to be attempting to force every Scot to declare ourselves British.

Famine has now been officially declared in Gaza City by a UN-backed report.
Families and children are dying of starvation, and this is just not a tragedy - it is genocide in plain sight.
There must be an immediate ceasefire, urgent aid into Gaza, and sanctions on Israel.
Could the @BBCNews explain a bit more about these "shelters" that the Israeli military are ordering civilians to move to?
