Ok hear me out: This is the system functioning as intended.
Democrats in power expand government broadly and somewhat indiscriminately, without careful regard for which policies make sense.
Republicans in power do the opposite, taking a hatchet to things and trying to downsize the scope and scale of government by any means.
On short timescales, this looks like utter chaos, but the American experiment has been enormously successful. How can this be?
Well the thing about government is that successful initiatives, the ones that prove themselves, have quite a bit of sticking power. Over time, the healthy parts of government survive. This is why America has coexisting social safety nets and private enterprise. Neither party supports this combination on their own, but it *really* works.
Eventually, political fluctuations may be so violent that cracks in the system start to appear, but the party whiplash of American politics is *the* feature, not a bug. The main failure mode is likely one party remaining in power for too long, as without each other, our parties govern unsustainably. Checks and balances do not always happen in real time, but when you zoom out beyond one electoral cycle, we have a beautiful thing going.

It is hard to believe because the public doesn’t understand how the system works.
The Chief of Staff, in my view, wields the power of the presidency.
When they choose to, they control who is placed in roles and who is not, what information is presented and what information is not, who appears on his schedule, and who does not.
They craft his reality.
It is physically impossible for any human being’s brain to parse through the volume of data necessary to run the globe without some kind of filter.
When you realize that Trump was largely viewing the landscape of the world through Susie Wiles’ lens - everything starts to make sense.
The question now is, what downstream people did Susie place in positions to further strengthen the reality she wanted him to live in?

I run a corporate consulting firm that specializes in small businesses, and I've dealt with more dysfunctional owners like this than I care to remember. I can tell you EXACTLY what's going on here.
This guy had HALF his competent workforce walk off the job, can’t retain new hires even after doubling wages, and the workers who do stick around can’t even clean a fish tank without causing thousands of dollars in damages.
And his conclusion is that an entire generation is unemployable?! Complete and utter nonsense.
I can practically guarantee that if I sat down with the employees who quit, it wouldn't even take five minutes to figure out why they all left:
An arrogant, insufferable, Boomer tyrant who treats his employees like garbage, blames everyone else for his own failures, and has created such a miserable working environment that anyone with two functioning brain cells and another employment opportunity immediately slams the eject button.
Which, incidentally, explains why the only employees he can retain are apparently too stupid to tie their own shoes.
The most incredible part is that this guy thinks offering $35 an hour somehow vindicates him.
Do you have any idea how thoroughly you have to screw up as an employer to make $73,000 a year CLEANING FISH TANKS sound like a bad deal?
And rather than engage in even a moment of self-reflection, he takes to X, publicly announcing that everyone who has ever worked for him is a lazy, incompetent moron.
I cannot imagine why people don’t want to work for this man.
I've got news for you, pal, and you might want to pay attention because I normally charge $400 an hour for this:
When everyone who has the ability to leave your business does so, and the only people left are the ones nobody else will hire, it isn’t an employee problem. It’s a YOU problem.
And the fact that you apparently had to shut down an otherwise profitable business before figuring that out tells me everything I need to know about why you had no business running one in the first place.
The newer generations are unemployable, so I shut down a business yesterday.
I have many small businesses I got involved in, one is a Saltwater fish store. It sells fish, corals, aquariums etc.
The most profitable part of one of these stores is outside Maintenance. Going to peoples houses, changing the fish tanks water, cleaning glass etc.
This is a very simple job, you run a hose in from the truck, suck water out, pump water in (nothing manual), and use a magnetic razor blade to clean the glass. Take a water sample and leave.
We had 4 trucks and 6 guys doing this... then 5, 4, 3... each person that quit put more work on the ones left.
We tried to hire, it's a very low skill job. Most maintenance guys make $15-18 an hour. We went upto $35 an hour to try and get people. Beyond that we cannot be profitable.
The job is easy, you have to have a license (actually hard as hell apparently), and pass a background check (youre in peoples homes, also hard as hell). Pass a drug test.
At $35 an hour we got the following.
Someone that caused almost 8k of damage when they started pumping in water, went out "for a smoke" and the tank overflowed.
At least 5 hires that went through background tests, drug tests etc then didn't show for work the 1st day and never called us again.
Someone that intentionally pulled the guard off the water pumping hose, and sucked someones fish into the pump.
Someone that scratched the District Attourney of las vegas, Steve Wolfson's tank by deciding to not use the magnetic razor, and "do it by hand"... fo no fucking reason. (4k bill)
A wrecked van
Someone who stole our water tester (1500 dollar machine).
I have no empathy, at least in Las Vegas, for people complaining about no work, no jobs blah blah blah.
$6000 a month to put hoses in and out of a tank and look at pretty fish.

The real way MAGA works. Lobbying firms pay “influencers” to push talking points. Susie would have staffers print out tweets going viral (via bots) by “his biggest supporters” to show Trump that an issue mattered to the base. This is why you got fucked and they got richer.

This week is why I'm tired of hearing about Tucker Carlson. Three people got spectacularly wealthy by their proximity to Trump - Susie Wiles, James Blair, and Chris LaCivita. It was their job to win the midterms. They failed catastrophically. Yet my timeline is full of Tucker this, Nick Fuentes that.
Was it Tucker who sold MAHA out to Bayer and gas station heroin companies? Was it Fuentes who said that mass deportations were unpopular, and that Trump should stop them? Was it Candace telling Trump that 94% of MAGA supported the Iran war? Was it Comic Dave Smith saying that Trump should tell people who wanted the Epstein files to be unsealed to sit out the midterms? Did they take $10,000,000 a year for 5 years for a "job" - corruption of such unbelievability that it wouldn't clear the writers room of the Sopranos.
We are such a childish culture that we don't know how to appoint accountability. Or are afraid to.
People go after Nick and Tucker because it's safe. Nobody will lose their access to the White House. Nobody will have the goon squads coordinate in group chats about them. Some may even be rewarded by head pats or maybe receive a small allowance from a billionaire donor.
Where as if you bring up corruption within the White House, there's a problem. Admin figures won't go on the YouTube slop shows. You won't get invited to events. I was specifically black listed from the Easter Egg roll. That's how petty these people are. My kid couldn't go the White House because I wouldn't shill for the Iran war.
Anyone who spends their time on Tucker / Candace / Nick while never reporting on the real corruption and self-enrichment are telling on themselves. They sold their souls to stay in the good graces of very disgusting people. They sold you out.
Now none of this means you shouldn't criticize anyone. I don't like that Tucker calls himself "just a podcaster." I don't call myself an "influencer." Like it or not, we have a higher calling from God. People are modeling themselves and forming their worldviews on what they read and watch and listen to. This doesn't make anyone responsible for what someone else does, but we should all feel a heavy weight each night. We should feel inadequate to the task. Like we failed somehow, but will nevertheless wake up the next day and do it all over again.
Even so, what exactly can Tucker (or I) do? He can't control information flow to Trump. He doesn't come from a lobbying shop that made $100,000,000 last year and this year, and that has richly rewarded him.
I sometimes watch his show and see his posts, most of the time I don't. That's not shade or negging. Nobody is reading all of my posts. Let's be real here. Everyone is busy.
Every day, James / Chris / Susie have access to Trump. They are rich beyond your wildest dreams. What did they do with this power? Why doesn't anyone ever ask about *that*?
We all know why. There are real consequences to taking on the big industries that we were sold out to. They'll plant stories, send out group chats to go after you, try getting you fired, and threaten to kill you.
The good news of an ass kicking is that there's no way to rationalize it. A close election could have led to excuse making. We are now facing a disaster. TEXAS IS BLUE. Because Grassley and the Senate refused to modify outdated rules, Democrats are in control of Cabinet appointments for at least the next 4 years.
There are people responsible for this. Very rich and powerful people.
Let's see more discussion of them.

FIRE THIS BITCH
Per our previous reporting that Morgan DeWitt was leaving PPO, numerous staffers have demanded the Wiles ally resign.
Dewitt has acted as a massive roadblock to America First patriots being hired, with many demanding her scalp as punishment.

Debanking illegal aliens solves all these issues with ICE compliance.
Trump could do this tomorrow but he doesn’t because he has the heart of a merchant and worships marginal GDP growth.
Hours after the election, Houston leaders said they'd revisit how HPD works with ICE. The governor-elect has pledged to end ICE cooperation across state and local law enforcement. State law still requires detainer cooperation and still makes illegal entry a state crime. Changing that still goes through the Legislature. A secure border isn't optional because Austin changed hands.

Debank illegals and debank those who employ them. The problem will be solved quickly and with significantly less drama.

I've been a hiring manager at a BigBox store. I completely believe.
>Walk in to get a job.
>Hi, can I speak to the manager?
>employee_regret_face.exe as they pick up the phone
>"There's a guy here to see you."
>"About what?" *sounds of a trashcompactor*
>employee_regret_face2.exe
>"About what?"
>I'm inquiring about a job.
>"It's about a job."
>*trashcompactor noises* "Did he put in an app?"
>"Did you put in an app online?"
>Yes.
>"Yes."
>"We'll call him." *sounds of trashcompactor jamming*
>"They'll call you."
>Can I talk them?
>"He wants to talk to you."
>*disgruntled manager noises* "Alright, let him know I'm on my way. It's gonna be a minute."
>time passes
>manager arrives, carrying temp logs and the nightly dock keys
>"How can I help you?"
>I'm hear about a job.
>"Did you apply online?"
>Yes.
>"Great. When we get that from the hiring team, we'll give you a call."
>Bell rings. Manager looking down aisle.
>Can I give you my resume?
>"Absolutely!"
>Shake.
>Walk away.
>Manager seen putting resume into a stack of papers on desk before chasing the alarm. Hiring is handled by online team without store input.
Four weeks later, the hiring manager is handed a stack of apps from the store HR rep.
Manager flips through it. Bunch of randos. Nothing crazy.
Manager finds the app, recognizes the name. "Oh, hey, it's that Zero kid."
"You know him?" assistant manager asks.
"Nah." Manager flips pages. Stops. It's the first time reading the resume, since it wasn't "real" until HR sent it over. "Holy shit, Aaron."
"Whazzat?" assistant manager chugs his third White Monster of the evening.
"Guy's a chemical engineer!"
"Holy shit."
"Yeah."
"He's never gonna stick around. Who else we got?"

I am having a hard time believing he can’t get a job at McDonald’s or Walmart. Both have signs in my town for hiring. Something is either up with his interviewing skills, they see that he is just using them as a temp position, arrogance etc.
I get the engineering jobs. He probably has no experience. Did he intern for summers? Did he build contacts, did he spend time networking? Too many unanswered questions for this to be accepted on face value.

My friend Steve was struggling to pay his mortgage
I had the perfect idea
Noticed some dead space in the footprint of his house
Added a 4-story ADU
Each floor is a 640 square foot 1-bedroom apartment
He can rent out each unit for $1,900 a month
That's an extra $7,600 a month in income
Plus, the ADUs are perfectly compatible with the existing character of the neighborhood
