Good Evening Friends... @ohululu @agintomboy @liszewsk @IowaRudeGuy2 @jfrunner Jim and I got a few things done today...1) He and I went to get him measured for his Tuxedo for our niece's "Black Tie Wedding reception"...had to direct him AWAY from the RED Jacket and PLAID pants (he was just yanking my chain and the guy at the shop plaued along... 2) Jim set the GPS for the "Joseph R. Biden, Jr. train station in Wilmington, DE and drove on down at around Noon (a non-commuter traffic time) just to see where it is...as my sister and her husband will be traveling down in 10 days from Concord Massachusetts to drive to DC w/us for the wedding. My BiL jumped at taking the train rather than flying as he says he never took a train. Seemed ODD to me as he was stationed in Europe w/the Air Force and he and my sister have Romanian friends they often visit... He said he DRIVES when they are over there... 🤷‍♀️ So he loves the idea of the train... This is the Station with the "rename"... it was closer than I thought and easy to get to...

Brazil in crisis after unprecedented election ~~ A leftist lawyer who was put on the Supreme Court by the leftist President Lula just went against all precedent in the history of Brazil and extended polling hours by two hours. ~~ Justice Cristiano Zanin, Lula's former lawyer, issued the order about 5:02 pm Brasília time, minutes after the 5 pm close. No Brazilian election had ever had its hours extended. Requests like this normally go to the electoral court (TSE), not the Supreme Court, and the electoral prosecutor opposed it. ~~ It is hard for us to even picture, but imagine that Donald Trump Junior wins a runoff by millions of votes after the Democrats packed the Supreme Court and imprisoned his dad, and then KBJ leaves polling open in Atlanta and Minneapolis and LA while they are closed everywhere else… ~~ In a few areas of Brazil, torrential rains made travel difficult, and Bolsonaro asked for an extension in those specific places. That is not what happened. ~~ Flavio’s request covered 17 municipalities in Sao Paulo, Parana and Santa Catarina. Lula's campaign widened its own request to all states at 3:42 pm. Zanin ordered a nationwide extension, then clarified it applied only where machines were still running. Here is why that is very important, the sites that did what every site has done in every election until now, shut down. The ones who were counting on an unprecedented action from a leftist lawyer? They stayed open as the buses ran and the corruption ruled. Thousands of machines had already shut down and couldn't reopen. ~~ Now the left wing candidate is being declared the winner, turning the margin he lost by in the first round into a victory. ~~ First round: Flavio 47.03%, Lula 45.16%, a gap of about 2.2 million. Runoff as of this writing Lula 51.79%, a lead of about 4.4 million. Lula gained over 10.3 million votes and Flavio under 3.8 million. Pre-runoff polls had Flavio ahead about 51 to 49. ~~~~~~ Alex Soros is celebrating. ~~~~~~ “Lula Lula Lula! Congrats to Brazil for standing up against authoritarianism once again!" Yet again we see that rule by unelected judges (in this case a single leftist lawyer who literally owes their position to the person they helped) is not considered authoritarian by tribalists like Soros. It is vile and obvious to the watching world. ~~ If Lula's win holds, it is the first leftist presidential win in Latin America since USAID stopped funding leftists in Central and South America. ~~ Trump should let the leftists look to their friends in Iran, China and Russia for help with their economy. As with Venezuela, they will crater, and that will accrue to the benefit of those who have judges who aren't corrupt. ~~ A single judge who is as thoroughly beholden to Lula as a person could be, doing something that has never been done before on Election Day, is authoritarian, not standing up to authoritarianism.
