Hey folks, it’s been a real treat here but I’m shutting her down. Nothing for me here anymore. I’m active on BlueSky. You can find me there. Same handle.

Are the Sens doomed to another November meltdown? Just how elite is Thomas Chabot? I have some thoughts for @silversevensens silversevensens.com/five-tho…

Don’t look up how that 2007-08 season ended

The Jets are on a ROLL 🔥 They join the 2007-08 Senators as the only teams in NHL history to win 13 of their first 14 games of a season 👏

Another game where the Sens fought hard and were maybe the better team on balance but still came out on the wrong end of it. The season is young-ish but moral victories are getting old fast!

This is gonna be Brännström's fate for the next several years. Kicks ass by any important measure, can't move up the depth chart because he's too small, moves on to another team where he has to start all over. From @ThomasDrance nytimes.com/athletic/5889695…

They got goalie'd. It happens. But did it have to happen in the first game of November? silversevensens.com/sens-get…

Not why they lost or anything but don’t understand the insistence on Sanderson over Chabot for the 6v5. You need a goal? Chabot’s the better choice. You need to protect a lead? Sanderson’s the better choice

For @silversevensens, I had some thoughts about a number of things — including the paper transactions the Sens have been using to free up cap space silversevensens.com/five-tho…

He likes NHL hockey! Honestly a refreshing concept

Part of what makes Mike Johnson such a good commentator is the way the admiration for really good hockey shows through his voice as he's explaining. You don't get enough of that kind of natural warmth about the sport itself these days.

Weird, haven't seen any tweets about how good Mike Matheson has been on the power play so far this season. That was his fifth PPP, putting him in a tie for 11th in PP scoring in the league.

Starting Anton Forsberg, even coming off a shutout, instead of Ullmark when it's not back-to-back is thinking wayyyyy too hard.

I am not sure what the point of Cousins is if he’s going to take stupid penalties like that late in the game

Three different national NHL journos tweeting about the Rangers assigning Rempe to the AHL. Rarely has so much ink been spilled about a fringe fourth line guy.

I'm not saying he's the primary reason for Ottawa's failures, but everything I've seen of Brady Tkachuk as a leader makes me think he has a loser's mindset and is not cut out to wear the C. No matter the situation, he should never show such frustration and lack of composure.

If Tim Stutzle keeps and I’ll be nice “exaggerating “ when he gets hit, he will lose respect fast in the league and draw the ire of not only players but referees @TimCPeel20 what are your thoughts on this ?? Just came out that Wi-Fi caught him in the chest not the head 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️
