I watched in horror and with tremendous sadness the antisemitic scenes in Amsterdam last night. Such violence is appalling and has no place in our society. Dutch authorities have launched a major investigation and will hold those responsible to account.

Georgia is among the top 10 US trade partners for the Netherlands, and its capital, Atlanta, is a key logistics hub, both for the European and the Caribbean countries of the Kingdom.

The transatlantic relationship between the Netherlands and South Carolina goes beyond security, economics, and culture.
We also have in common coastal flooding challenges, thriving port cities, and our collective commitment to a secure world.
Let's keep working together!
We also visited @AnneFrankCenter at the @UofSC, the official US partner of the @annefrankhouse in
@Stad_Amsterdam, and the @iaamuseum in Charleston, which opened in 2023 on the site where the disembarkation point of up to 40% of all American enslaved persons once stood.
