❗️POLITICO reports Russia has launched a covert online influence campaign ahead of the US midterms targeting both Democrats and Republicans supportive of Ukraine. Citing a classified US intelligence report, Mark Warner and Jim Himes said Moscow is using AI to spread disinformation faster, sow distrust in US institutions and question voting-machine results. They said no evidence has been seen of Russian hacking of election infrastructure or campaign networks. #Russia

Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff alleges Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff are negotiating with the Kremlin over billions of dollars in sales of sanctioned Russian oil assets, including Lukoil holdings, to investors linked to Trump. Ossoff says the same investors put hundreds of millions into Trump family businesses and claims the US government would receive 15% from the transactions. #Russia

Zelensky says Russia controls about 18 to 19% of Ukraine's territory and warned that civilians, including children, remain trapped in occupied Oleshky without food or a way to evacuate. ❗️Denmark will provide a $112.6 million state-backed loan guarantee to Fire Point's Danish subsidiary to help launch production in Southern Jutland. The financing will be provided through Denmark's Export and Investment Fund because the war prevents the company from borrowing on normal terms. Copenhagen says locating Ukrainian defense production abroad will better protect it from Russian attacks and strengthen cooperation between Ukrainian and Danish defense industries. #Ukraine

Ukrainian military radio technology expert Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov says Russia struck Kyiv's historic center overnight with an Iskander ballistic missile carrying a K5 cluster warhead. According to him, the warhead contains 58 submunitions that detonate in the air and are intended to maximize effects on people and equipment across a 400 by 400 meter area. Flash said the strike was not aimed at a military target and reported many wounded civilians and destruction. #Ukraine

❗️The Hill reports 23 US House members, 16 Democrats and 7 Republicans, signed a bipartisan letter urging Trump to push Elon Musk to let Ukraine use Starlink to hunt Russian missile launchers inside Russia. Rep. Joe Wilson said Ukraine must be able to defend itself. #Ukraine

Zelensky says Russia launched three waves of ballistic strikes at Kyiv overnight, firing 21 missiles. Across Kyiv and 11 other regions, 34 people were wounded, including five children, and two people were killed. #Ukraine

The Financial Times reports Ukraine has gained access to NATO's Support and Procurement Agency, allowing Kyiv to purchase weapons, ammunition and military equipment through its mechanisms. NSPA COO Jacqueline Borsboom said this gives Ukraine a more structured way to access procurement expertise, support services and an established industrial base, potentially expanding defense procurement through joint contracts and logistics support. #Ukraine

Ukraine says Russia has prepared an international information operation called "Telemost" today. The broadcast is expected to accuse Ukrainian forces of crimes against civilians in occupied territories. Kyiv says the goal is to conceal Russian crimes, including in Oleshky, discredit Ukraine's Defense Forces and weaken international support by targeting European governments as well. #Ukraine

Ukraine's HUR says Russia has begun using a new cruise missile called Filin against Ukraine. According to intelligence, it can reach speeds of up to 800 km/h and has a range of up to 1,200 km. The missile can fly at ultra-low altitude and climb to 6 km. HUR says known versions carry warheads weighing 50 kg or 100 kg. #Ukraine

Russia's overnight ballistic missile and drone attack on Kyiv killed at least one person and injured 22, including two 15-year-olds. Damage was reported in at least three districts. Epitsentr and Retail Park were hit, a medical facility in Pechersk was damaged, a JYSK store was destroyed and a nearby postal cargo branch caught fire. The attack also caused major traffic disruption in the capital. #Ukraine

❗️Ukrainian Defense Forces reportedly struck Russia's 75th Arsenal in Serpukhov, Moscow region, using missiles or jet-powered drones. The defense-industrial facility specializes in repairing, restoring and storing military equipment. According to Rostec, it serviced Buk-M1, Buk-M2 and S-300V air defense systems. A missile alert was reported in the city during the attack. #Ukraine

Ukraine's 34th Separate Marine Brigade says its troops carried out another humanitarian mission, using drones to deliver food, medicines and hygiene supplies to residents of temporarily occupied Oleshky. The aid was delivered directly by unmanned systems. #Ukraine

Ukraine's Khartiia Corps revealed details of Operation Veles on the Kupiansk axis. Ukrainian forces advanced more than 15 km through underground routes into the Russian rear, using a main gas pipeline, tunnels and other access routes while surface forces and drones supported the operation. The corps says the operation blocked Russian attempts to reach Kupiansk's rear. More than 30 Russians were captured and enemy losses exceeded 100. #Ukraine

Ukraine's Air Force says Russia launched a massive combined attack overnight, using Iskander-M, S-400, Zircon and Oniks missiles plus 210 drones. Air defenses downed or suppressed 181 UAVs, including 87 jet-powered Shaheds. Kyiv was the main target. #Ukraine

Ukraine's General Staff says Russian personnel losses reached 2,250 on October 21, the highest daily figure since the start of the full-scale invasion. It says Russia has lost about 363,820 personnel in 2026 and 1,572,790 since February 24, 2022. #Ukraine
