WOW you missed the entire point of who was the butt of the joke here - he was. The point was to show how ignorant, stupid and cruel men often were in the workplace in a sardonic way.
That is NOT the same as what Shane Gillis said on SNL. That joke was against women.

I would love to remind people had some basic media literacy back then. The joke is that a misogynistic Charicature reduced himself to absurdity by calling Jane a slut in response to her well thought out reaponse. The absurdity is why it's funny, not that Jane is a slut.
