Today we honour Constable Charles Richards on the anniversary of his passing. It is unknown when he became a constable. Research into Cst. Richards’ history shows that he was designated as village constable for Port Robinson by the local Magistrate.

Today, we pause to remember and honour the brave officers who made the ultimate sacrifice. It was a powerful reminder that behind every badge is a person, a family, and a story that will never be forgotten

A day to remember. A moment to reflect. We came together, along police services from across Canada, to honour the officers who gave their lives in service to others, support the families left behind, and honour the legacy carried by every badge #HeroesInLife
