We couldn't agree more, @ForFreeMarkets! Restricting exports of diesel would disrupt established supply chains while weakening incentives for refiners to maximize production and invest in additional capacity. Diesel export bans are just a bad idea.

The taxes that have been floated include: 💲Employer income tax 💲Individual income tax 💲Increasing progressivity of income tax (top rate 52%) 💲Higher capital gains taxes 💲Wealth tax 💲Death tax 💲Small business tax 💲Health care tax 💲Banking tax Even after all these job killing, economy wrecking tax hikes, this plan would likely add $2 trillion to the deficit EVERY YEAR.

The net result would be: higher taxes, more debt, lousier health care, and frustrated patients. It’s astonishing that anyone running for public office would associate themselves with this trainwreck.

That's right, @RepEricBurlison! We do have some good news for taxpayers… a new fiscal year means a new chance for Congress to stop overspending!
If you're 25 years old, the federal government hasn't balanced its budget in your lifetime. Washington has spent an entire generation operating in the red. Pathetic!

Yesterday, @FoF_Institute, @NTU and @Protectaxpayers asked @FEMA_Cam to formally determine Puerto Rico’s construction taxes on FEMA projects unallowable federal costs. This determination doesn’t just comply with federal law but also advances @POTUS and @JDVance’s goal of eliminating the abuse of taxpayer dollars.   Read the full letter here: ff.org/taxpayer-groups-ask-f…   @cate_long @JoseADelgadoEND @gruizkuilan

For years, municipalities in Puerto Rico have been taxing federally funded projects meant for disaster reconstruction. These governments are using federal tax dollars as a piggy bank. We’ve now joined Frontiers of Freedom and @Protectaxpayers in urging @FEMA_Cam to look into this abuse of tax dollars and take action. These local - and illegal - taxes mean less infrastructure is built while federal money is siphoned for other purposes. Read our letter: ff.org/taxpayer-groups-ask-f…
