Aaron Ford is playing politics with Nevada's gas prices. Ford had a real opportunity to take action to lower gas prices previously, and he refused to act. No one should take him seriously now that he comes up with a political stunt two weeks before an election.
Here are the facts:
✔️Governor Joe Lombardo joined Democratic Governor Katie Hobbs to push back on California fuel legislation that could hurt Nevada and Arizona.
❌Did Aaron Ford join the bipartisan effort to stand up to Gavin Newsom? Of course not. He was more worried about securing his endorsement.
✔️In July, Governor Lombardo proposed a special session to consider a sales tax holiday and help Nevadans keep more of their money.
❌Ford's Democratic colleagues wouldn't even consider the request.
✔️Governor Lombardo established the Nevada Fuel Resiliency Committee to strengthen preparedness for supply disruptions from California and make our state less reliant on California.
❌Aaron Ford refuses to mention this committee or recognize its efforts to diversify our energy supply.
✔️Aaron Ford proudly campaigned with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris while gas hit a record-high in Nevada. Where was this demand for a $2,000 check when Joe Biden was president?
❌Instead he was telling reporters he "was excited about what the current administration is doing."
With two weeks before Election Day, Aaron Ford has discovered another empty promise with no explanation of how to deliver it. Nevadans deserve relief, but they also deserve honesty and practical solutions, not campaign talking points.
.@JoeLombardo has been a staunch supporter of Trump’s Iran war — and its cost Nevada families $2,000. Nevadans are paying the price for Trump’s war and I'm calling on him to send every Nevada household a $2,000 refund.
Lombardo backed this war. Then he asked Trump to spend even more of your money on it.
Joe, you claim to have Trump's number. Use it. Sign the letter.

Nevada's Democratic attorney general Aaron Ford voted to pardon or reduce sentences for 30 people convicted of murder — and now he wants to be governor.
Public records show Ford, as a member of the state's Board of Pardons Commissioners, backed lighter sentences for a man who kidnapped a 16-year-old and executed him in the desert over car rims, a convicted "thrill killer" who ambushed and killed a Pizza Hut worker for fun, and a murderer who beat his victim to death with a cinder block. In several of these cases, incumbent Republican Gov. Joe Lombardo voted against leniency while Ford pushed it through.

How bad are things going for @AaronDFordNV?
The Democrat Clark County District Attorney just crossed party lines to endorse Governor @JoeLombardoNV.
This comes right after the Democrat nominee for attorney general publicly distanced herself from Ford for his decision to sponsor a clemency bid for a gang member who killed a pregnant woman.
There's zero question: Governor Lombardo is the only one we can trust to keep Nevadans safe.

Our very own @Gurr4Nevada submitted the BDR to protect women’s sports on June 19th. He brought the legislation previously in 2023 and 2025. We believe 2027 will be the year we get this done. Thank you @JosephMLombardo for supporting this important legislation.

NV Assemblyman @GHafenII: “Unacceptable… voters in the state of Nevada are going to actually send her a big message this November."
Nevada is losing a steady and principled public servant with the retirement of Congressman Mark Amodei. His decades of service in state government and Congress reflect a deep commitment to Nevada and the people he represented.
