I understand that the King asked for this poem by ⁦@malcolmguite⁩ to be read at the Royal Carol Service. It deserves to be read everywhere this Christmas.

Beautiful!
Actual photo of the Holy Spirit who just happens to be looking at you for no particular reason yet She can’t hide Her feelings because they are written all over Her feathers.
Praying for a safe & swift return home for this little one

Can you help? This beautiful bronze statue of Saint Michael the Archangel, dedicated to those servicemen & women who gave their lives fighting for their country, has been stolen from atop the war memorial in our #Bedfordshire village. Please retweet & help us find Saint Michael!

St Bartholomew’s day. Hurray for sunflowers 🌻
The Sunflower, Helianthus annus, is the flower dedicated to St. Bartholomew whose feast day is on 24th August. In late summer its brilliant, cheery blooms are like reflections of the sun hence it is also known as 'St. Bartholomew's Star'. It is a symbol of constancy and devotion.

So generous! I’m in!!
Fancy a free cocktail at @TheAlchemistUK 🍸 On Thursday 29th August the bar will be offering customers a free cocktail in exchange for an item of non-perishable food. Donations will go to the Friary in West Bridgford who are a charity which helps the homeless and disadvantaged.
Just listened to @RevRichardColes @revkatebottley & @giles_fraser @BBCRadio4. A wonderful bittersweet reflection - thank you all!!

What should young people do with their lives today? Many things, obviously. But the most daring thing is to create stable communities in which the terrible disease of loneliness can be cured. Kurt Vonnegut
