I'm conflicted on HMs. In one hand, it's annoying to have to catch a new pokemon that can learn one so you don't end up with a dead slot in your actual team. But without them, you lose the magic of seeing an item behind a rock or a tree and remembering to bring a user next time

I don't understand the point of putting healing spells in your RPG if healing items are cheap abundant and more effective than the spells

The only RPG where I actually used healing spells was in breath of fire 2 with water spar but that's because she has basically infinite AP (and you don't have that many inventory slots)
