I think this is a fairly balanced review. Music is abysmal. VFX too is a complete letdown: there is the scene of Tadaka and Rama that is basically lifted from the 2016 Jungle book movie. Rama archery scenes are all Marvel Hawkeye.

Paramjeet Dhankar, former Tech Mahindra Asia-Pacific regional head, was shot dead by his neighbour Mohan Sharma in Faridabad Haryana. Sharma allegedly fired around 15 rounds from his licensed pistol during a parking argument; nine bullets hit Dhankar, killing him on the spot.

At this point it almost feels like #JithuMadhavan can’t go wrong. #Scene is such a fun ride. Tamil cinema is on a dream run. #Suriya #Nazriya #Naslen and even all supporting actors make it a delightful time at the theatres. If you are not interested in #Ramayana or have already watched it, SCENE must be your next visit to the theatres.
1st Half Review:
#Yash Ravana sequences, outstanding. All apprehensions about the VFX CGI flipped. Happy to see the team take feedback and given us extraordinary 3D sequences in the final product, except the #Tadka and #Subahu sequence with Rama, which does still look and feel very video gamish cartoonish. The #RanbirKapoor Rama sequences are yet to blow my mind. Drama is just okish, also a fact that we all know the story for the story drama parts to be of any surprise to us. As an introduction to #Ramayana for some, even the drama may work. Not for us who know it already. The Vanvaas sequence gets really emotionally elevated, thanks to Zimmer-Rahman orchestral style music combo instead of a synth sound. And thats the Interval.

When someone commits a heinous crime, the first response should be empathy & an attempt to understand the larger problem. Not finding a convenient scapegoat in cinema.
It is becoming increasingly clear that your concern is not for the victims or their families, but that you're using a horrific tragedy as a dirty excuse to settle your personal scores.
This is especially directed at those failed frustrated jobless male/female actors, few directors, producers & parasites, who suddenly appoint themselves as social reformers whenever an opportunity arises to take a dig at someone else's work.
A tragedy deserves empathy 🙏, not opportunism. Learn the difference.

As someone who loves Shah Rukh Khan, I expected better from King. Siddharth Anand's latest presentation raises serious questions about originality, creative direction and whether Bollywood's obsession with blockbuster packaging is coming at the cost of good filmmaking. Stardom deserves better creativity, not unquestioning applause.
