Nancy Fielder, "This is the right wing mail saying it's going to be an absolute disaster to pay normal people in normal jobs, in jobs that are all in crisis: we can't get enough teachers, nurses or GPs. But why would we want to pay them fairly?" @NancyFielder "They talk as if we are going to cripple the country by paying these people.. As if they are not everyday people struggling with the cost of living crisis just like all of us" "It's not been a strike free past few years, so what's the alternative, do we continue not to pay people, so we can't recruit into the job. Or does the new government try to find a way forward, which the previous government absolutely failed to do" Christian Calgie, Daily Express, "These deals come with no strings attached" "The unions didn't get Labour in, the country voted for Labour because they didn't want the much weaker alternative of the Conservative party; they had their chance, they massively failed. This was the mess Labour were left with and we have to move forward" "I can't bear this conversation of Tories going: let's go this way. They've had 14 years, they've had their chance. They messed it up"
