If my theory that 20% of expected GOP voters turned around and voted D out of protest is accurate, then Abbott would have had 5.6 million votes and Hinojosa 4.2 millionâŚ
Abbott margin of 14%, in line with his usual performances.
Paxton would have had 5.4 million to Talaricoâs 4.4 million, margin of 10% and a four point gap from top of the ticket, which is what most polling reflected.
20% GOP backstab rate.
My initial read on data at the county level, excluding major urban and suburban counties (worse), is that 15-20% of reliable Rs voted D practically across the national map.
In Walker County, TX, in an election with over 10mm votes, Iâd have expected a margin for Abbott around 40% even in a left pendulum year, 8,800 margin on 22,000 votes.
Margin was 4,900 (23%) on the same number.
I hope everyoneâs anger votes result in satisfaction for living under their new Democrat masters practically everywhere in the country.
DAMN. Sullivan might actually win wtf. 2nd round will be very close, I guess. It may be close enough for DOJ to intervene if Peltola wins. And yet Sullivan could win without it.
Okay, i guess Rasmussen is still one of us. Surprisingly so.
Every counted vote must be from a legal, living American citizen.
There are now detailed Federal databases by county that can surface election fraud cases for investigation.
And @TheJusticeDept previously committed to doing so.
Was this a mousetrap election?

Democrats just took the WRONG lessons from Tuesday nightâs results. And theyâre going to screw up EVERYTHING they got. Mark my words.
Texas Democrats have a once-in-a-generation chance to finally end the absurd rural Texas property tax exemption (ag-exemption). It would be political malpractice to ignore this chance to finally fix public school funding. @GinaHinojosaTX @VikkiGoodwinTX @VoteAnnJohnson

đ¨ Another red flag showing up in midterm election results.
2022 - only 51.3 million Democrat votes.
2024 - 75 million for presidential election
2026- 70.6 million (based on remaining ballots going 54.9% Democrat as they have so far).
This means nearly 20 million more people voted Democrat in 2026 than in 2022 when Biden was president. I didnât know democrats got more 20 million votes more popular over the last 4 years. How did Trump win in 2024 if that was the case?
It also means democrats turned out at near presidential election rates, as if Kamala was on the ballot, which is extremely odd for a midterm election.
đ¨ 2026 midterm numbers nationwide donât add up for Early Voting and show a MAJOR discrepancy:
Early voting broke the record by 16 million extra votes, nationwide, and Democrats beat republicans by 14.3 million votes, but is that a coincidence? We get 16 million extra votes this year and also happen to get whooped by 14 million votes across the board? Trump didnât even lose to Biden by that much in 2020. A 14 million loss, would mean 89% of the 16 million new voters had to be democrats and this is where the discrepancy arises.
The data shows only 42.6% of the early ballots were Democrat, so how did they win by 14 million ballots? If they actually only had 42.6% of the early vote, then they should only have won by just over 1 Million, not 14 million.
2026 - 62 million total votes
2022 - 46 million
Breakdown of voters (of states that share data)
⢠Democrats: 42.6%
⢠Republicans: 31.0%
⢠None/Minor: 26.4%
Democrats wins by 14.3 million Early Votes:
Democrats: ~63.5 million (55.6%)
Republicans: ~49.2 million (43.0%)

To tell the truth, even though Iâm BEYOND furious at Donald Trump for the near-extinction level massacre he just put the GOP through and think he should resign in shameâŚâŚâŚI just canât bring myself to fully hate the guy.
He was my introduction to politics in 2016, the first person I ever voted for in 2020. Like many young conservatives, my political story is inseparable from Donald Trumpâs. It truly does break my heart that his story has to end this way, with him as the villain đ˘.
But despite everything, I truly do believe that his life being saved in Butler was an act of God, meaning that everything happening right now is happening for a good reason. That reason might not be apparent now, but I do believe it will show itself in time. Reminder that without Richard Nixon and his failures, Ronald Reagan never wouldâve risen from the ashes to revive the GOP and reform it into a much better and stronger party than it had been previously. My hope is that heâs this generationâs Nixon, and that this generationâs Reagan will show himself in time (DeSantis maybe đ).
Iâm calling on Donald Trump to resign from the presidency for the good of the country and party. Heâs poison and has cost the GOP GENERATIONAL losses, including in solid red states. We have a chance to course-correct for 2028, but ONLY if we demonstrate to the public that weâre sincere about wanting to move on from him. Get him out of here!

I keep hearing Republicans didnât show up to vote in Texas⌠not true. Greg Abbot received 100k more votes in 2026 than 2022âŚ
Democrats jumped 1.7 MILLION VOTES⌠wait wait wait⌠Im suppose to believe Democrats went from 3.5 million in 2018, 3.5 million in 2022 to 5.2 million in 2026
Wait⌠has anyone checked these numbers ?
Something seems extremely off
Umm⌠400,000 more Democrats showed up for this Midterm Election than Voting for Kamala HarrisâŚ
Kamala Harris got 4.8 million votesâŚ
A no named, nobody knew in Texas for Governor received 400,000 more votesâŚ
Than Kamala Harris⌠umm.. wait what ?

How could Talarico have been up just 2-3 points on Paxton in the polls, but end up beating him by 14 points?
In Texas?
How could Abbott get the same number of votes in 2018, 2022, and 2026, only for his Dem opponent to suddenly pull 2 million extra votes in 2026?
In Texas?

đ¨Two numbers from Texas that donât pass the smell test:
Gina Hinojosa just got 5.23 million votes for governor. Thatâs more than any gubernatorial candidate in modern Texas history â higher than Abbottâs 4.66M peak in 2018 and 1.68M more than Beto got in 2022.
James Talarico got 5.45 million for Senate. Thatâs only about 940k short of Trumpâs entire 2024 presidential total in Texas⌠in a midterm.
Republican raw votes stayed flat. Democratic votes exploded. Midterm turnout somehow produced presidential-level Democratic numbers.
Totally normal. Nothing to see here.

A lot of yammering about Republican turnout.
Greg Abbott (Respected Moderate) EXCEEDED his 2022 midterms performance by 100K votes (and counting).
He garnered more votes than any Republican Gubernatorial candidate in Texas history.
The problem is Gina Hinojosa gained 1.7 million votes more than Beto O'Rourke.
Those are Looney Tunes numbers.
Hinojosa got 400K more votes in Texas than Kamala Harris in 2024. She's got more than Joe Biden in 2020 by 5,000 votes and counting.
These are not normal midterms numbers. These are retard numbers.
Not a single opinion poll before the elections came close to predicting this.
Lines at the polling places in Texas should have been around the block to get these results.
Unfortunately too many Conservative Thought Leaders are more concerned about screaming "I told you so" and polishing their resumes for 2028 for the upcoming DeSantis-Vance feuds.

Yeah, we're never losing SD lol
Mike Rounds was among the Senate Republicans who outperformed polling expectations.
The polling average had Rounds leading 51â41 (R+10).
Our October 17â19 Quantus Insights survey found Rounds ahead 57.2â36.5 (R+20.7), or 59.4â37.3 (R+22.1) with leaners.
Rounds won by approximately 21 points.

We could be a few seats away from getting the senate back in 2028 with all the right candidates. Lombardo is still a titan, Yee apparently lost by only 6 when Biggs lost by 13, Chris Sununu could do well in NH, Steil might have a good shot at winning in WI despite losing his seat

OH- Husted or LaRose
PA- Fitzpatrick
NH- Ayotte/Chris Sununu

The Democrats *really* want to get a woman over the finish line in 2028. Theyâre 0-2 right now, but Trump (I assume) wonât be on the ballot, so the temptation to dismiss him as this weird once in a generation outlier is clearly there. They only selected Biden in 2020 out of strategic calculation, not love. Biden has been running for president since the late 80s. The party didnât really want him, but Clyburn and a few others felt he was the best option to beat Trump, and that dominated all other concerns.
In 2028 they wonât have the specter of Trump looming over everything, and no other Republican generates the same intense hate. So that element of single mindedness that helped focus the party in certain aspects is no longer there.
In the abstract, I think Ossoff is currently best positioned: battleground state, immensely popular, very well spoken, plenty of electoral expertise in a state that went for Trump just 2 years ago. He can persuade the kinds of people who vote Trump.
But heâs also a white male and the party given its preference doesnât want a white male at the top of the ticket. That gives alternatives like Harris an opening, although I think Harris is probably unelectable and if nominated the best chance the GOP has in 2028
Some of my immediate takeaways from the midterms:
1. This wasnât a blue wave. This wasnât even a blue tsunami. This was a blue mass extinction event. The Republican coalition which seemingly gave Trump a mandate 2 years ago fell apart everywhere, on all sides. There was a big polling error, but what happened is that polls underestimated Democrats. The generic ballot will seemingly end at D+13. This goes above and beyond what the rosiest Dem forecasts thought could happen.
2. Trumpism has been conclusively smashed at the polls, not even just Trump himself. The Rust Belt didnât have any sympathy for tariffs, hawkish voters had no sympathy for the Iran War, and non-college educated whites had no sympathy for the attacks on colleges and mass ICE raids. Republicans mightâve lost young men for a generation. All types of Republicans across the country faced the wrath of voters. The GOP has been completely transformed into MAGAâs fashion, but that will be a detriment for voters. Turns out, Trump only broke the laws of political gravity when he had the benefit of the doubt regarding a (relatively) peaceful world and a good economy.
3. Zohran Mamdani is the most influential Dem politician of the decade already. His message, though very much altered for different states and different candidates, became the Democratic Partyâs midterm platform. The idea that Mamdani would be some fringe figure in the Dem coalition, as proffered by some pundits last year, has been thoroughly disproven. He will be only next to Obama and Bernie as the models for all Dem politicians, particularly on the left, going forward
4. Israel took a drubbing at the polls. The Iran War created the high gas prices and inflation that drew the floor out from underneath the GOP coalition. We already know how Dem voters view Israel as being the worst thing on Earth. But now Republicans (even JD Vance as weâve seen today) are also mad at Israel for pushing them into a war thatâs remarkably unpopular, and that America will ultimately lose. The GOP will continue to be institutionally pro-Israel, due to donors and other factors, but GOP politicians and particularly pollsters now view Israel as a liability, both personally and politically.
5. The effect on the 2028 Dem primary sweepstakes is as such: Josh Shapiroâs case is over (why would Dems care about nominating an electorally skillful moderate after THIS kind of anti-GOP drubbing?), Gavin Newsom might now just become irrelevant, and the stock of such characters as Mark Kelly, Ro Khanna, Andy Beshear, Elissa Slotkin, Cory Booker, Jared Polis, Gretchen Whitmer, and Pete Buttigieg has gone down (Chris Murphyâs stock has also gone down too, for other reasons). Kamala Harrisâ stock has gone up, as Dems now begin to feel that Kamalaâs loss has been properly avenged and she can now start planning her reconquest. James Talarico is ascendant (Beto had a serious 2020 campaign just by *barely losing* a Texas senate seat, and a Dem Texas Governor removes the issue of losing his senate seat to the GOP), and AOC had her best night possible. Primary voters will now care less about electability, and care more about totally repudiating Trumpism and policy. Those are the lanes progressives do best in. AOC, even she prefers to become a Senator, is now positioned to be the Barry Goldwater or even Ronald Reagan of the Dem left. But the best night goes to Jon Ossoff. 18 point victory in a swing state. He is now the frontrunner, no ifs or buts.
(1/2)
Midterms were both a referendum on Trump and a turnout difference. I think that even if Trump did what he promised, no Iran war, economy soared and prices way down, there would still have been at least a small blue wave above D+5 or 6. Democrats turned out at presidential level.
