Disappointed by my treatment at Vauxhall Leisure Centre today. After getting poolside and waiting to use the hoist, a manager stopped me because they “assumed” over the weight limit. Nobody asked my weight. I’ve used it before without issue. Humiliating @Better_UK #Accessibility
Not again. TWICE in one week I’ve been trapped on London transport.
First the train. Tonight the Tube. Why is this still happening to disabled passengers in 2026?!
Tonight’s was Bank to Waterloo. Completely unacceptable.

Another day another assistance failure where the drivers blaming me yet it’s @Se_Railway fault at Waterloo east for not being there @TransportForAll only recorded after over 9 minutes of being stuck relying on the good will of people to find staff
Got barged into in my 🧑🏻🦽➡️ on the train home today and had my Freedom Pass and credit card stolen by some absolute lowlife.
Now I’m stuck waiting for a police report that somehow takes over an hour just to process, and then I still have to pay £15 to replace 1/2
Imagine arriving at your hotel as a wheelchair user 🧑🏻🦽➡️ and being TURNED AWAY because of an “accessibility policy”.

You know what today has taught me?
That “inclusion & diversity” doesn’t mean a goddamn thing when it comes to people with neurological/physical disabilities.
The lack of awareness or understanding is exactly WHY films like “I Swear” are so important.
It’s an embarrassment.
Huge thank you @LondonFire for helping me at London Bridge this morning. But let’s be clear, I should never have needed rescuing in the first place. Broken lifts are not a minor inconvenience when you are disabled. This is a failure of accessibility. @TfL #accesability #Disabled
