I wasn't going to address the "Welcome to Country" booing at AAMI Park last night. But as the media have run with the story, I'll add my two cents.
While the booing was only from a small element of the crowd, it was still bloody disappointing.
I truly believe football ⚽️ is the only sport in Australia that genuinely embraces all cultures.
Melbourne's multicultural community was on full display last night—from South Melbourne and their famous Greek diaspora to the cultural melting pot of passionate Melbourne Victory fans.
