The agbero situation is a multi-dimentional problem. The first step is: a government has to be elected outside of the agbero network that is not a holding to the agbero network, and then you will have the political will to deal with it... -Funso Doherty, Lagos State Governorship Candidate, NDC, addressing the agbero situation in Lagos State #LagosGovernorshipDebate #LagosDecides #NigeriaDebateConsortium

The candidate of the NDC said he believes Lagos is operating far below potential, therefore lagosians are living far below their potential. He dolled up statistics and tales about how the IGR Lagos receives is too much and the taxes the government takes doesn’t reflect in the life of Lagosians. He also said one person has ruled Lagos for 20 years therefore they’ve had all the time to fix the issues in Lagos. #LagosGovernorshipDebate

There’s only one politician in Nigeria who doesn’t have a root. No one knows where he’s from or his community. Crazy
Today, I visited the river by which I grew up till age 20. I went and had a swim in the River Forcados, right here in my community, and it was great! This is what I always do once in a while even with my children, who all know how to swim. I encourage all young men to learn how to swim. Not only is it a good sport, but it is also an essential life skill, particularly for those of us living around here. ~HSD

This is BENDE TOWN, the hometown of my APC opponent and the current Deputy Speaker of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. In my absence! From all the length and breadth of Bende Federal Constituency, the call for a new direction and a new face of representation is being echoed. OFUJI has received overwhelming expressions of support and adoption from different communities across the constituency. DIFFERENT FACES, SAME VOICE! The message is clear: Bende is ready for a new chapter. OGA DIKA OLUEBUBE 2027!

You all think DSP Ovie Omo-Agege is Great Ogboru that you can intimidate with thuggery in Delta. Agege hold the street normal. That he's a US trained lawyer and son of a Chief Judge do not take away the warri blood in him. He did not rise to the position of Nigeria's number 5 man by being a coward or dundy. He paid the price and that's on a period. If he had known that the tribunal and courts will be cash and carry in 2023, he would have gotten his real results declared that day or no results would have been declared. Only Senate he's running for and Delta State has caught fire since June and Nigeria feeling the heat. Imagjne if he did this kind of movement in 2023 and not allow Sabiu Tunde hijack INEC and security because he refused to support Northern candidate during APC primaries. People will lay down their lives to see him emerge as senator next year and will sacrifice the governor and anyone to see it come true. The dangerous combo of Peter Obi, Kwankwaso and Omo-Agege is what other states needs to copy in the next few weeks. And oh yes, Victor Ochei is doing the Lord's work in Delta North. His momentum is intoxicating to supporters. Rig and Die Fejiro Oliver

PRESS STATEMENT APC'S ENDLESS LIES AND DECEIT HOW MANY TIMES WILL APC APPROVE IBOM DEEP SEA PORT? President Tinubu, while campaigning in Uyo, has promised and granted approval for the construction of the Ibom Deep Sea Port. What a hocus-pocus, what hogwash, and what barefaced lies and shenanigans of a rudderless party! How many times will the APC approve the Ibom Deep Sea Port? President Buhari approved it in December 2020. The Federal Executive Council gave approval for the implementation of the first phase of the $4.6 billion Ibom Deep Sea Port (IDSP) during its meeting on December 16, 2020. That approval named Bollore/Power China as the preferred bidder and was meant to allow construction to commence. In a brazen display of ignorance of statecraft and the elevation of grand deceit as a campaign strategy, President Tinubu, as APC presidential candidate, first promised the port during his 2023 campaign. At the APC campaign rally at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on 30 January 2023, he told supporters: "We will do mechanised farming. We will export food from Akwa Ibom. We will build your seaport." Unfortunately, as is characteristic of the APC, they never fulfilled the promise. Over three years down the line, President Tinubu on Friday, 6 November 2026, had to promise again to construct the long-awaited Ibom Deep Sea Port project in Akwa Ibom State. Obviously, this is another round of cheap promises that will not be kept or honoured. Just as before, so it will be now — empty promises. All talk and no action. As Nigerians are still waiting for the APC and President Tinubu to give us uninterrupted electricity supply, so Akwa Ibomites are waiting endlessly for the promised deep sea port that has become a campaign tool of deceit. Nigerians must shine their eyes and dump the APC into the abyss of socio-political irrelevance and make a new Nigeria possible. Indeed, a New Nigeria is POssible with NDC. Signed: Osa Director, Esq. For Inquiries: @DirectorOsa National Publicity Secretary Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC)

Hello @inecnigeria, I am certain you know you are walking on low trust levels. You should submit yourself to independent audit. Your voter database has been compromised and can’t deliver right results for Nigerians.
In 2023, Governor Bassey Otu’s polling unit, Primary School, Adiabo Okurikang (PU 09-15-01-003) in Odukpani, Cross River, had 684 voters on the register. The 2026 preliminary register has 3,092. That’s 2,408 new voters, a 352% increase and one of the biggest jumps of any polling unit in Nigeria. Look closely at the photos. Many of them appear to be AI-generated or stock images from the internet, and some faces are turned sideways. Photos captured live at a registration point don’t look like this. #Mundx #INEC #NigeriaDecides2027
