🗣Souness: "Its cruel on #ManCity. This is because of FFP, set up by the big clubs to protect big clubs. They've said, 'We are the big guys, we generate the most, let's set up a rule that prevents City buying the best players and we're not the big boys anymore.' Its jealousy" 👏

What a signing Suzuki has been for Villa. Looking forward to him playing for Man United next season because Geroge Best won the european cup for them in 1968.

hi Paula, I hope your weekend is going great, why don’t you tell the class how despite your billions spent on shite players, decades of the highest wage bills, and 1 billion of debt and the fact that you’re an international laughing stock, with a rusty stadium, shite owners, shite team and shite manager/s it’s still City’s fault.

Another muppet using City to excuse his downfalls. Manchester United threw away an 8 point lead, including drawing 4-4 with Everton after being 3-1 up.
They also lost away to Wigan and lost to #mancity in their biggest game of the season. United lost the league because United weren’t good enough!

“Financial Fair Play” was never really about making football fair. It was about protecting those already at the top.
As Kieran Maguire points out, clubs that spend the most on wages and transfers tend to finish in the top three. So when City arrived with the financial backing to challenge that established hierarchy, suddenly the rules became a matter of existential importance.
City didn’t create football’s financial inequality they challenged who was allowed to benefit from it.
That’s why the real question isn’t simply whether City broke the rules. It’s whether the rules are genuinely about fairness, or about protecting the old order from being disrupted.
