As another summer AAU season comes to a close with @SSA_Hoops , I couldn't be prouder of the work put in on the court with @CoachCalebLigon. A major highlight was earning a spot as a Sleeper Gem in @RL_HoopsKS Ready for this high school season at Perry Lecompton @CoachSimmonsM

Not officially coming out of Twitter retirement, but had to gloat about @goforward closing: fiercehealthcare.com/health-… In 2018, investor @rabois & I had a spirited debate about their "innovation" replacing PCPs. That fun thread w/ him calling all docs useless luddites here.
Also, Forward, to my understanding, has not invented a single new med technology. They are just measuring basic vitals and commonly available test and presentation get them in a “futuristic” format. Maybe some value in that but they don’t have tricorder!

Anyone who asserts we don’t use tech is clueless. And any doctor is highly unlikely to understand data.

This is a terrifying thread, but such a projection of a future massive surge in dementia at a “young” age related to metabolic syndrome isn’t far-fetched. – at Kansas, USA
Dear Twitter friends, I just want to alert you on something that may be an inflexion point in our children’s lives. The more I continue doing research in the mechanisms behind the pathogenesis of T2 Diabetes (T2D) the more we see the relationship w/ mechanisms behind Alzheimer’s

Bought my son a very lightly used @StateBicycleCo All-Road bike for his 12th birthday. For the price, I thought it was a pretty sweet rig. But after a couple weeks of riding, the crank thread for pedal was completely stripped. He is either a stud or very poor machining!

So the UK’s main vaccine advisory panel is NOT going to recommend a COVID vaccine to most kids under 16 yo (for now). 🤔 So honest question: Does this make the Brit experts anti-vax and/or morons? theguardian.com/society/2021…

Biking today near the Rio Grande Gorge with my son was awesome but I guess my expression here is the result of the altitude & unrelenting UV rays.
