During WW2, shopkeeper, George O’Sullivan of Nicholas St. #Limerick made ‘chocolate’ #EasterEggs to sell as there was a chocolate shortage - he used wafers shaped into eggs & painted them with cocoa powder. These are the original moulds as shared with me by @Hanora38 #Easter – at Limerick, Ireland

There's a coat of paint on O'Dwyers bridge now which is a relatively recent phenomenon. This chap with the wheelbarrow is my Grandad Joseph Quinn then of Rutland St working on it's construction some 60 years earlier again in 1931
