Tonight I’m not going in hoping for a toxic atmosphere. We all know things are shite right now. We’ve got a side with no confidence, we've only got 11 fit players and a load of youngsters starting or on the bench, and I’m going there to cheer them on, particularly those who will be very new to first team football.
Every paper and every journalist is already asking whether Frank will be here tomorrow, the anger post West Ham was there for all to see, the board do not need signals from us, and turning the place toxic won’t change anything.
When the team is absolutely and categorically on its arse, that’s exactly when they need their fans behind them.
