Evidence for the decay B⁰→μ⁺μ⁻ ! The LHCb experiment sees the rarest B meson decay ever !
In the image below the big peak is Bₛ⁰→μ⁺μ⁻ . That was well known for 10 years. But to its left is the small contribution from the B⁰. One in 10 billion B⁰ proceed to two muons.

When the USSR collapsed, all the countries that had been behind the 'iron curtain' - the Warsaw pact countries - became democratic and elected their leaders, replacing the leaders that the USSR had imposed on them since 1948
These newly elected governments, aware of how ruthless their USSR puppet governments had been, decided to join NATO, to defend themselves against the return of Russian domination
This spread of democracy panicked the Russians,
who feared that democracy might dismantle the
authoritarian tradition that has been in place there
since the Communists set out to impose Communism on the rest of the world
Or, later, in the case of Putin, his aim to create the USSR once again
For those still in denial that NATO expansion had anything to do with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, have a look at declassified files showing Britain’s Ministry of Defence prepared for war with Russia after expanding Nato – 26 years before the invasion.

WHEN YOU REALIZE THE BABY BOOM WASN'T JUST SOLDIERS COMING HOME HORNY.
It was soldiers coming home to the GI Bill free college, 0% down home loans, low-interest business loans.
It was strong unions. Pensions. A house that cost 2 years of salary.
It was confidence that the future was actually going to be better than the present.
That's what produced a baby boom. Not romance. Security.
You want a higher birth rate now?
Give people a future where they know their kids will actually be okay.
That's the whole formula. It's not complicated. It's just expensive, and nobody in charge wants to pay for it twice.

To revolutionise physics we need experiments, not AI
Yes and no. For many Physics problems where the fundamentals are well established and they can be reduced to applied Math, the answer is yes. Many others - including almost all of the most fundamental problems - require an entirely different paradigm before they can become amenable to mathematical problem solving. This is one of the deepest insights from the history of Physics that we have almost completely forgotten over the past half a century +. At some point AI may be able to provide us with such a deep insight, but I have not seen even a glimmer of such capabilities from the current models.

A reminder that there’s absolutely nothing stopping NATO aircraft from shooting down Russian drones and missiles over Ukraine except for cowardice and complete lack of strategic understanding.
🇷🇴 A Spanish F-18 fighter jet pilot on a #NATO air policing mission shot down a drone illegally breaching Romanian national airspace, the fourth unmanned aircraft the country has shot down this year, Romania's defence ministry said on Sunday.

Its funny how everyone's idea of heaven is a complete untouched paradise, crystal clear waters, lush green forests, enough food for everyone, classless, moneyless, stateless, a utopia of peace, unity and happiness. But here on earth it's considered a leftist ideology
