Yesterday, @XBOX asked the internet to name its TGS cat. They misspelled the intended name (Midori instead of Midoru) and re-ran the poll.
The community already gravitated toward that option before the typo was fixed. After the rerun, Midoru looks like the name most likely to stick which would finally give one of gaming’s biggest companies an official name for a mascot that has been nameless for three years.
The cat of one of the biggest gaming companies (26M followers on X) is at 43k?
No brainer, and will add more on dips.

Yesterday, Xbox launched a vote to finally name its famous cat.
The original vote included Midori, which literally means “green” in Japanese, instead of Midoru, a historical Japanese word meaning “to become green / flourish,” with much deeper lore behind it.
Before the vote was restarted, $MIDORI was leading and ran past $500K MC.
Now, with only a few hours left, Midoru is leading the new vote, and $MIDORU is still under $100K MC.
People are seriously underestimating how big this could be.
One of Xbox’s most recognizable cats is finally getting an official name, right in the middle of the cats + stocks meta.
Having $MIDORU paired with $MSFT on Robinhood Chain makes this narrative even stronger. This is huge.
The real attention starts once the vote closes and Xbox starts using the winning name across its socials.
$MIDORU
