We now have TWENTY of the upcoming Hometown Remix jerseys, nearly 2/3rds of the league. Who’s in the lead for your favorite?
🍎: @abslswrld @carterrichardd
EXCLUSIVE: The Jersey Nerds can confirm with near certainty the designs for 20 of the NHL's Hometown Remix jerseys. Thanks to @abslswrld for helping us out with these!
Going alphabetically, starting with Anaheim, Boston, Buffalo, and Carolina.
“I asked them, they said no, I gotta listen to my bosses”
Asked #NHLJets coach Scott Arniel if they’ve had talks about breaking up the top line with only 6 goals in 4 games as a team:
He cracks a bit of a smile and says: “Same old question yep. Will we split them up…”
“You know what I've talked to those two, and we’re 20th right now in scoring at five on five, and we're I think ninth in five on five against. So I'm not in panic mode here, but we're in five straight (losses). We've been in nine one goal games. So yes, I do need it. I like to tinker a little bit now that Mercer is here. I haven't had him. That was one game for him. So I’d like to tinker with some other lines first before I kind of go down that road.”
Clocks ticking, from last night on the convo:
#NHLJets coach Scott Arniel, responding to a question from @ConnorHrabchak1, just revealed he’s spoken to Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor about possibly splitting them up to try and get some more balance scoring.
“I’m not in panic mode yet.”
Bauer can become a Canadian legend if he destroys Brady Tkachuk tonight, so maybe we have that to look forward to

Winnipeg got to host a spectacular event all weekend long with the Heritage classic and everything around it
We’ll dive into the weekend it was around town, and I suppose some of the game that brought them to 5 winless
7 PM Central, come hang out:

Oh we should be having Samberg/Morrissey trade convos but those convos shouldn’t be to try and put a band aid on this. Quite the opposite approach is necessary
This is a great point from @WiebesWorld on @SportsTalkWPG about individual points not mattering on a singular line if you don’t have balance
Wondering when him, and more importantly the team, will recognize this and apply the same conversation to the duo whose points are celebrated for playing 93 straight games together on a bottom 10 franchise in the sport in that timeline
We are so back
I realize that anyone against it at this point will probably never change their mind. But are we really about to go 82 games last season and 84 games this season of the top two guys producing on the top line and acting surprised that they aren’t getting scoring elsewhere? And act like there isn’t a potential solution right in front of our faces?
