WB execs thought sending his biggest haters to the set of Justice League such as the sexual predator Devin Faraci or Umberto would make the movie better, so I guess you gave the same thought process as Johns and Berg that he needs more detractors involved in his film making.

The main difference is that James Cameron up until Terminator Dark Fate saw three movies and a series where the character survived insane odds and even became a villain with Cameron understanding John overstayed his welcome . It was a mercy killing
