Virginia. It’s funny how somehow no matter where we go, paths from VA always cross. When @kasimpeterson hit me to come check RVA’s own @Luhkiddo__ out at @JBLaudio Soho as he prepares to rollout new music and reintroduce himself to the world, I knew it was gonna special.
Not only did I end up running into @Ghosttheexec who I haven’t seen since the era of my own event series Face Melt Friday, but I ended up talking to the one and only @OctavionX on the phone. Then after the event while attempting to take a few photos of my stunning wife @elizabethafields I randomly ran into @nikerich78 right down the block!
This day was full of so much history and connection, all in the name of making new connections to build and create an even brighter future.
No waiting. Right now, here in the present.
Shouts to @GregBanksMusic & Chanese for the outstanding performances we just happened to catch, and much respect to @LindoApproved & @jdtheplug_22 for the conversation and exchange of perspectives and ideas.
When I asked what this event was about, the word used was “Impact.”
I couldn’t agree more.

Photo from 1999, taken amid the Kosovo War, shoes Mustafa Xaja, an Albanian man who had lost his two children and was desperately trying to find them.
Sometime after, the Newsweek journalist who took the photo, returned to Kosovo and journeyed to Mitrovica, Mustafa's hometown.
The reporter located Mustafa and inquired about his family. Astonishingly, Mustafa confirmed that his wife and children were alive and they reunited.

This video of Scott Hall showing up to Jerry Springer to show his love to these kids fighting cancer really teared me up.
The fact that he even gave them his real Intercontinental Championship makes it even better.
Scott Hall had such a good heart. 😭❤️

In 2007, US Navy SEAL Mike Day survived being shot 27 times by al-Qaeda militants in his legs, arms, abdomen, buttocks, and scrotum, and was knocked out by a grenade.
Remarkably, he not only survived but also managed to eliminate all four militants and later walked away unaided after regaining consciousness.
He left the Navy in 2010 after 21 years of service. He went on to represent Wounded Warriors, and spent the rest of his life advocating for veterans.
He unfortunately passed away in March 2023.
