Man, I remember when a lot of people were saying things like... - $TCNNF refund is a done deal because you know the IRS sent the money back so how is there any risk? - The IRS is so gutted that they don't have the manpower to audit anyone anyway. Notice that this only refers to some TRUL subs too - the $38m proposed penalty is not the ceiling here for sure. For $580m in 280E UTP, I'd expect them to issue over $100m in proposed penalties total.

Consistent Decrease: Across the 2008–2021 period, both current (≥1 day during the previous 30 days) and frequent (≥6 days during the previous 30 days) cannabis use among students in grades 8, 10, and 12 in King County, Washington, declined for both male and female students. Lowest Prevalence in 2021: The lowest prevalence of current and frequent cannabis use for both male and female students was observed in the 2021 survey cycle. The point is simple: $GRUSF is on a treadmill to continuously raise money, there is no flywheel, it has no strategic value, breakeven in existing states at best. The 2-3 top $MSOS trade at 4-6x THIS year's EBITDA while $GRUSF trades at 25x+ EBITDA.

NJ, Illinois, and MN are all discussed in detail. It's a great intro to those not familiar with the company and has good nuggets of info for those already familiar. One great thing about GR (and it's been this way since the first financial statement from them I read years ago) is just how much you can understand the business by reading the financials, the press release, the investor deck, and listening to basically this interview. The transparency and simplicity are refreshing. ( $CXXIF and $GLASF also deserve a lot of credit in this regard IMO) The Fund is long GR, and Aaron's Mindset Capital is the largest shareholder - and the interview encapsulates a lot of the reasons why.
