The funniest part about the Kang situation is that Marvel could've made him the threat that caused the multiverse to collapse, then introduced Doom as the man who takes advantage of the chaos and becomes God Emperor.
Kang didn't even need to be the final villain for his story to matter.

Thor sharing his powers with the Avengers might be one of the most broken abilities in the MCU.
Imagine giving Spider-Man the power of Thor on top of everything he can already do.

The projector looks like the Mind Stone
I think it's really cool how White Vision watches the memories Hex Vision gave him of his time with Wanda in a theater where the projector seems to imitate the shape the Mind Stone made on Vision's forehead.
*"You, Vision, are the piece of the Mind Stone that lives in me."* Now, these memories are the piece of Wanda that lives on in him.

✴︎ What do u think makes Vision different from other artificial beings in Marvel: his emotions, his memories, his choices, or something else?
Zuko telling Sokka to face death with honor when he saw the Ocean Spirit wasn’t just a funny moment.
The last time he encountered that spirit, it destroyed the Fire Nation’s entire naval fleet and took Zhao with it. Zuko genuinely thought they were finished. 😭

Framing Carrie White as an innocent victim who "did nothing wrong" completely ignores the apocalyptic scale of her retribution.
Trauma explains the tragedy, but it doesn't absolve the slaughter of an entire town. In Stephen King's novel, Carrie didn't just strike back at her direct abusers, she brought down power lines, burned down Chamberlain, and indiscriminately killed hundreds of innocent people who had no part in her torment. Turning her into a blameless martyr erases the terrifying reality of what happens when unbridled power meets utter rage.
Stop romanticizing mass destruction as righteous justice. Read the book. #Carrie
Does Carrie White have every right to become a villain after everything she was put through, or does her suffering not justify what she became? 👀

If Harry had a map that showed where everyone was in Hogwarts, why didn't he use it to find out what Draco was doing in Half-Blood Prince?

Not a single adaptation in fifty years has actually had the spine to be faithful to Stephen King’s novel.
De Palma gave us a glossy thriller that sanitized Carrie into a delicate waif instead of the pimple-faced outcast King explicitly wrote.
The 1999 sequel turned a grounded tragedy into a cheap slasher cash grab.
The 2002 TV film got her look closer, then chickened out with a studio rewrite that kept her alive for a failed pilot.
The 2013 remake turned raw horror into a polished, superhero-adjacent origin story.
And the 2026 series is complete rock-bottom; a bloated CW melodrama that butchers continuity, sanitizes abuse, and drags out a finished story for content-farm seasons.
Hollywood has spent five decades proving it would rather slap a pretty face and cheap tropes on a tragedy than respect the source material.
Stop settling for watered-down screen adaptations. Read the book. 📉 #Carrie
If you could erase one Carrie adaptation from history, which one would it be and why? 👀 #carrie

Kang was likely being positioned as the catalyst for the multiversal collapse, with The Kang Dynasty setting up the threat before Secret Wars brought the surviving realities together as Battleworld. Marvel’s shift to Doom changes the central conflict: instead of a Kang variant conquering the multiverse, we may get Doom exploiting its destruction and establishing himself as its ruler, closer to his God Emperor storyline in the comics.

Infinity War’s Thanos was far scarier narratively than Endgame’s.
He beat Thor, crushed Hulk, tortured Nebula, killed Loki, and watched Tony Stark beg for his life. He had history with almost every Avenger. Then he actually won.
Imagine that Thanos returning five years later to face the same people who failed to stop him. Instead, Endgame gave us a younger 2014 Thanos who had never even met most of them.
The Avengers deserved a rematch with the man who broke them, not an earlier version who had never even heard of them. #Avengers

Having Carrie use telekinesis to intentionally give Chris a nosebleed is the absolute peak of modern writers not understanding how Stephen King's magic system works.
In the novel, telekinesis wasn't some shared superhero connection or "psychic link" between mortal enemies, it was a latent biological mutation unique to Carrie, triggered by extreme stress and trauma. Giving Chris a nosebleed as if they're tethered in some high-stakes CW rivalry completely dilutes Carrie's isolated power and turns a grounded, terrifying anomaly into a cheap Stranger Things rip-off.
Stop giving bullies psychic connections just to force dramatic tension. Read the book. #Carrie
