Tough old day today for my better half and her family. If I'm honest, I hate funerals nearly as much as I hate hospitals, but it's all a part of the regime known as life I suppose.
Probably one of the most bizarre but favourite games of cricket ever tonight. One horse race against a team of real gents. The young lads who have been with us since 9/10 years old were superb. Can't wish for any more as a club sometimes than seeing that progress!
I'll beat this bollocks on my own. Theres billions of people in the world worse than me. I'm not depressed, I'm tired, it's probably part of being a dad to 2 amazing twin boys. If I'm tired, I sometimes don't even dare to ask how my amazing partner and mother to these lads feels.

I'd class my knowledge of local cricket as quite reasonable Genuinely never got why Billy Root, from Sheffield who scored 229 for Glamorgan today, never got a go at @YorkshireCCC
Complete farce with the trains from Birmingham to Sheffield. That said, to get things in perspective, I'm currently fearing for the life of the bloke stood next to me.
