Heia Norge! Heia Gresshoppene! #Sterkeresammen

Angel City’s centre-backs really didn’t shroud themselves in glory on that Legacy goal. Zero urgency.

NEALY! ROLL TIDE!

Not to get all political on NWSL Decision Day, but if Congressional Dems have literally ANY spine &/or leadership (both v much open questions), they’ll strip Haley Stevens of committee assignments.

Frustrating Arsenal match again. I think Renée should have simply rotated Lessi to the 9, Liv to the RW, & Reuteler to the 10. The spaces were there for us. We just didn’t have the right players in the right positions to take advantage. Alas. More frittered pts.

The national college hoops media just doesn't seem to understand what a handful Davis Fogle & Isiah Harwell will be this year.

Zags 2 for 2 from 3? STOP THE COUNT

Arsenal needed a match like this.

Just for the sake of confidence, Arsenal could really use another run-of-play goal in this match.

Ona is a completely different player at RB.

RUSSO! Honestly, a goal was deserved. A really good run of play from Arsenal over the past few minutes.

Y'all, I really, really like the look of Reuteler on the RW. Spacing, width, combination play, press, etc. Excellent stuff.

Geri & Cait are a pair of feisty wingers.

Don't love that our bench has only 1 MF on it, but I am happy to see Hinds getting a start at LB & Ona moved over to RB. 🤞 for Arsenal actually scoring a few goals today.

👇 100%

Opponents should be terrified to face Angel City in the playoffs. Also, Taylor Suarez gets the attention for her clutch goal scoring, but Carina Lageyre has enjoyed a v successful rookie season. She’s like a metronome in MF, controlling tempo & connecting lines. Great stuff.

Roll Tide & Go Zags, simultaneously. And the Arsenal Women finally won this morning, so nothing can ruin my day at this point, honestly. I love the fall.

That was a well-worked goal from Arsenal. Nice Gyökeres hold-off, one-touch for all the complaints about his ball control.

I’m not in the mood to talk Arsenal, so I’m just going to focus observations on Angel City. 1st, the formation shift has much better suited the actual roster/talent. 2nd, Sentnor is the engine running the attack. So incisive. 3rd, Taylor Suarez is playing some v, v good football.

Chuburná. The goats should really feel lucky that I like them, as I’d otherwise just stay down here & never go back to the house in Missouri.

All 4 trees are like this. I don’t want to brag or anything, but I currently have a lot of coconuts.
