We’ve had a brilliant week celebrating ‘Mental Health and Awareness Week’. We have spent lots of time outdoors to boost our well being and have thought about what makes our community a special place. It has been lovely to read the responses on our ‘Wall of Thankfulness’.
The Polar Bears and Leopards in Year 2 have had a fantastic day at @NCMME 🌟
It was a great way to enhance our coal mining topic and the children were excellently behaved and they loved it😁
We wish all our families a very happy easter. One more sleep to go! #AllsaintsEYFS #AllsaintsRE
The children in Year 2 have ended an excellent Geography topic comparing London to Kathmandu 🇳🇵🏴
DT club have thoroughly enjoyed making their moving vehicle with a trailer with @heppdt Thank you so much. Just look at their fantastic designs and product - the children certainly stretched their learning muscles. Well done everyone. #AllsaintsDT
The children in the School Council were honoured to be a part of the unveiling of the mural by local artist Harriet Colours. This celebrates Normanton’s rich rail history. We listened to the artist’s speech and enjoyed designing our own murals at the library. #allsaintsSC
An exciting day ahead for our Literacy Specialists 🌟

A proud moment for 3 Year 2 children today. They have achieved their pen licence today. Just wow! Well done.
We have enjoyed investigating different materials in the dark den as part of science week. We helped Gem and Cosmo identify which colours would be safe to wear and be seen in the dark. #Allsaintsscience #scienceweek #Allsaintseyfs
We really enjoyed our pancakes this Shrove Tuesday. Thank you Mr Bond, Mrs Ballance and Mrs Huskins they were delicious. #ShroveTuesday #Allsaintseyfs
EYFS have had an amazing first week back after half term. We have been inspired by our recent visit to Normanton Fire Station and produced some outstanding learning in our provision areas. We have loved finding out about real life heroes! #allsaintseyfs
The children have been reflecting on their #OneLife learning this half term. Some excellent responses in Year 2 🌟 @MrsKellyWood_
Mrs Stone and Mrs Dixon have had a fantastic morning at ‘Building the reading school conference’ at @RoundhaySchool 📚
A morning full of reflections and collaboration 🌟
We wanted to say and an amazing well done to Mr Bond and the all the other people who camped out at @oldtraffordsleepout on Friday night and who have managed to raise over £30,000 to raise money for the homeless. What an amazing act of kindness. #allsaints
Last week UFS enjoyed learning all about Diwali the festival of light. The children made rockets, sparklers, designed rangoli patterns and mehndi patterns and retold the story of Rama and Sita. #allsaintsEYFS #UW
We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate individual (Level 3) to join our nursery team. Please see our school website to find out more and apply.
