I'm incredibly honored to be named a Boston Herald and Boston Globe All-Scholastic athlete.
This recognition means even more because of everything it took to get here. During the fall of my senior year, I had an ischemic stroke caused by a PFO and underwent a heart procedure in January. Returning to the field wasn't just about playing again, I was determined to compete at the level I knew I was capable of.
I'm so grateful for this season because it taught me lessons about perseverance and resilience, that I'll carry with me beyond the softball field as I begin my next chapter at Christopher Newport University this fall.
Thank you to my family, teammates, coaches, trainers, doctors, and everyone who supported me along the way #GoCaptains @NFHS_Org

There are countless people to thank in baseball and the broadcast booth that have allowed me to grow in so many ways on and off air! It also wouldn’t be possible without the players and staff that make my job a blast!
A massive thank you to @MiLB for this tremendous award!
